Pretty funny sign up at the Launceston airport:

I must say that this plus all of the brown and gold surrounding Collingwood as they arrived and did interviews, etc, has almost changed my mind about us sticking with Tassie long term.
It warmed the cockles of my heart.
We certainly have something no other Melbourne club has.

Not really fussed how he goes he won't be on the list in 2016.

Fair call and I would agree in that I'd predict Grimley won't play another home and away game for the Hawks. However, I am fascinated to see what happens as I think he has some talent but lacks dedication and concentration. Both of those things *might* improve substantially now that he knows that this is his last chance at AFL level. I think he was under the impression that a range of clubs would have offered him a spot on their list, but he must surely know now that is not going to happen...

The population base does question the medium term viability of focusing so much on Tassie (re: attendance at games) but personally I love it. How many of our members reside in Tassie? Even if we pull out over the next decade many Tassie members may stay with us...

It is not where our growth will come from. Our membership has not grown in Tas the last seven years.
I know this is off topic but I would like the next deal as follows: -
3 games + NAB
I game v Vic club, 2 v interstate
Each club to play there at least one over 5 years.
E.g. We play Saints, North, Dogs x 2 & Dees as Vic clubs
GC & CSW twice, other one.
NAB games v Pies, Bombers, Tigers, Blues, Cats.

Then, when North pull out in 2025 once the AFL own Docklands, we can play two in Launceston and two in Hobart.

Beveridge coached against Brisbane in week 1 and Bolton against North Melbourne. I honestly can't remember if Bruce was the other one.
Yes - recall the hype about Bruce coaching against Melbourne in the last preseason game last year, where the Dees were spanked by over 100+ points at Casey Fields on a warm autumn's day!

Found this more hilarious due to the fact the Collingwood home page is advertising "TAS Memberships". Guessing that wont be a particularly successful campaign.

I reckon we might sell a few.

Nah this it not even close to an issue. Grim cannot read the play - it is as simple as that. He hesitates with the ball and is clueless about when and where to run without the ball. The sheer fact that he remains on the list is testament to his good character given he has produced so little.

I also think that his time has passed but where there is life there is hope!

Will be interesting to see who gets left out. My money would be on Roughead, Mitchell and McEvoy...

A good line up for this one could be:

B: Miles, Frawley, Stratton
HB: Howe, Brand, Litherland
C: Hartung, Lewis (c), Miller-Lewis
HF: Gunston, Gibson, Anderson
F: Puopolo, Grimley, Sicily
Fo: Ceglar, Langford, Woodward
I: Pittonet, Bruest, Shiels, Willsmore, Simpkin, Hardisty
Subs: Hill, Duryea

We get a look at much of the younger brigade and have the chance to experiment with Gibson up forward.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Sicily and Miller-Lewis.

For those within Australia and without Foxtel, you can grab a 4 week AFL Live Pass for free using the code nab2015

Stream the whole preseason comp on your mobile or tablet :)

I've tried but the website like my credit card number and neither Telstra nor AFL could help. :(
Oh well I guess I'll have to go to a sports bar.

Still just pinching myself seeing Frawley in our line up now. We have a laughably talented team.
