Nah we don't need another KPP. Should play Carter on Lynch instead.
I was hoping we'd stick someone like that on the Q Stick for a few minutes early on just to rile him up or confuse him. Would be hilarious to watch.

I agree that there's probably only room for one of Selwood and McGinnity - assuming we've got a healthy list to choose from.Adam Selwood and mcginnity should not both be in the team at the same time. Only one of them is necessary.
There disposal is so shoddy it costs us goals. Mcginnity does not have the tank to play in the midfield and the required ability to read the play, watch him when he is doing a tagging role being 10m behind a player as he is kicking a goal as he has been caught on the hop.
Which "other guys" should rotate through? We have increased midfield depth this year and we must mix it up more and run more players through the centre so as the players have more energy late in games and late in the year, sick of the slump from rounds 13-18 most years, Kerr, Priddis, Shuey, Selwood are our go to guys and we need to increase that list. Rest Priddis,Kerr,Selwood etc (not all at once)and give some of the other guys a go.
Thats why they are regarded as depth no?When you actually look at the players you provide that depth, how many of them are genuinely proven at senior level?
There's a reason these guys aren't in the best 22.
Yeah – so let's not carry on like they're all sure things.Thats why they are regarded as depth no?
Oh FFS Dargie.Yeah – so let's not carry on like they're all sure things.
i thought they werent in the 22 because you can only fit 22 guys in there?Thats why they are regarded as depth no?
It's because he was significantly older than the rest of the playing group.God, do you remember when Banfield played?? "Banfield, the veteran" every. single. time. he. got. the ball.
Agree about Hill. A forward line of Darling, Kennedy, LeCras, Hill, a resting ruck and a resting mid looks very, very dangerous. It will be great to see Darling, Kennedy, LeCras and Hill in the same forward line. I hope it is a structure that works out. I think Hill could potentially bring our team to a level higher than most other players. If he gets to the stage where he is running along the wing as well as crumbing off the resting ruck...well I think if his ceiling is yet to be reached then we could be in for some good times.
If Hill and Wellingham are able to impact contests consistently then then Shuey and Gaff's job gets a whole lot easier. We need these things to happen if we want a premiership middle third

So we're going to be fielding a team of short people?Glass passed his fitness test and will play at this stage. McGovern emergency so won't be playing for Claremont tonight.
nice stats mate and the link is a beauty . Like i said " please " prove me wrongI could not disagree more with your opinion on Bradley Dick and i will be more than happy to change your mind.
Let's look at how he did last year overall. Not just the GF where his whole team got spanked.
Debuted for the Sharks in the reserves in round 11 June 4th 2012. Keep in mind up until this point he had been on a restricted training schedule that didn't allow him to partake in pre season as he was rehabilitating from a knee reconstruction.
Round 11 reserves 2 goals
Round 12 reserves 2 goals
Round 13 reserves 2. 5
Round 14 reserves 3 goals
Round 15 (ELEVATED TO SENIORS) 2.3 goals
Round 16 bye
Round 17 2.1
Round 18 4.4
Round 19 0.2
Round 20 bye
Round 21 2.1
Round 22 6.1
Round 23 3.1
Round 24 3.2
Semi finals 2.4
Prelim final 3.1
Final 0.1
So that's 36 goals & 26 behinds in 15 games. Keep in mind the only two games all year he didn't kick a goal in were the two games they played the Claremont Tigers who were the best team all year. They won the WAFL GF and the Foxtel cup and kept a very tight leash on Dicky boy.
He averaged 2.4 goals a game. This is coming back from a knee reco with no pre season under his belt. The kid will be a very good player for us if he can keep his body fit which is the only reason he wasn't given a game last year though he was elevated as backup for the finals.Dick earned his elevation to the main list the bloody hard way. I take my hat off to him.
Lastly go to this link to watch the video, this was his haul of six. Love the snap of the right boot, kid can kick with either foot and is a real goal crumber, just what we need.

My concern would be that that forwardline will limit our midfield rotations compared with swapping Hill with a midfielder. Obviously, if LeCras can spend time in the midfield that helps. Also if Hill can do the same, that would give us the best of both worlds.Agree about Hill. A forward line of Darling, Kennedy, LeCras, Hill, a resting ruck and a resting mid looks very, very dangerous.
Really looking forward to seeing Kennedy more then anyone else. There's no need to tell me he was injured last year, but when you look at the games he played before that happened, he really was pretty poor. After bagging what, 7 goals in the opening game against the dogs, the next 4 games i think before he got injured weren't that crash hot at all from memory.
And naturally he was a bit underdone when he came back at the end of the season so you can't really complain about that.
A nice injury free Kennedy playing consistent footy sounds pretty exciting. Hey Dargie, hey Dargie....... just my opinion bro
Right you are sir, and he's had another interrupted pre season again this year yes? If he has, that would suck
To be honest I don't think Embley has a spot in the team other than as a sub.Gets harder and harder to see where Embley, and to a lesser extent A Selwood (and hopefully McGinnity), will fit into the team at the end of the year. We have great depth at the moment.
