Is this your team after lock out or before? Nice team POTP.How many trades left? I like you have Brown/Thompson fwd bench and I am leaving Brown as emerg all year.

If you havent traded yet, & have 13 plus trades left i would Trade Pentrenko/Houlihan >>> Grimes (for the cash).

Sorry forgot to say that team is as of now. No trades as yet this week.

Unfortunately I have traded pretty hard and only have 10 left, so will probably hold out this week. Would like to trade in Grimes and Broughton but will leave with me only 8 and 6 if I get Gaz a week or 2 later. Very shaky ground, so I think I'll just sit back and assess for a week or two.

I will probably leave Brown also as my forward emergency for the year.

Thanks for the reply.

Team After Lockout Rd 9 Will leave me with 12 trades, 11 next week when Rich becomes Ablett.

Cox, Macca (Jacobs, Spencer)

Pav, Franklin, Deledio, Johnson, Higgins, Roughead, Kraks (Brown, Thompson)

Any thoughts.

Ps Kraks becomes Brown in 4 weeks after Kraks yo yos down then UP:)

Cox, Sandilands (Jacobs, Browne)

12 trades left, ranked 89th. If everything goes to plan I'll have my team finished with 4 trades left.

Backs: Cornes, Goddard, Fisher, Drummond, Dempsey, Hill, Broughton (Petrenko, Rance)

Centres: Bartel, Judd, Selwood, Corey, Otten, Rich (Beams, Robinson)

Rucks: Cox, McIntosh (Jacobs, Spencer)

Forwards: Riewoldt, Pavlich, Chapman, Steve Johnson, Deledio, Didak, Higgins (Sidebottom, W. Thompson)

13 trades remaining, $157,000 left over. Current ranking 146th.

That's my team before trading this week. Not sure at the moment what I'm doing this week, but I'm considering downgrading Hill to Grimes which will then give me enough cash to trade Otten/Rich to any midfielder, or Dempsey to any defender.

Probably only need to do 5 more upgrades to my team so I'm feeling very comfortable with 13 trades remaining.

Backs:Goddard, Fisher, Enright, Gilbee, Chornes, Broughton, Cheney (Houlihan, Suban)

Mids:Judd, Bartel, Corey, Selwood, Ball, Rich (coughlan, L.anthony)

Rucks:Cox, McIntosh (Jacobs, Spencer)

Forwards: Pavlich, Deledio, S.Johnson, Franklin, Higgins, Ziebell, M. Brown (Macaffer, Ballantyne)

this is before any trades this week. i'm thinking ill just do houlihan to grimes maybe this week. i want to upgrade ball in the next couple of weeks.

thoughts?

Trotto if you downgraded houli to grimes would you keep him as a 7th back or look to upgrade later on

my team

backs: Goddard, Fisher, Enright, Ryder, Urquhart, Houlihan, Rance (Cheney, Hurley)

mids: Ablett, Selwood, Judd, Dal Santo, Pearce D, Rich (Beams, Anthony)

rucks Cox, Blake (Jacobs, Browne)

fwds: Davis, Riewoldt, Deledio, McMahon, Higgins, Zielbell, Dowler (Walker, Garlett)

12 trades left, looking at either doing:
Waker>Sidebottom
Blake>Kosi

or

Rance>Grimes
Blake>kosi

rance could possibly be my 7th back depending on how hungry he is when he returns

Heres my team fellas and the trades I plan to do this week -

Backs - Goddard, Fisher, Gilbee, Cornes, Newman (in for Houlihan), Grimes (in for Hill), Broughton

Bench- Rance, Petrenko

Midfield -
Ablett, Judd, Bartel, Dal Santo, Selwood, Rich

Bench - Otten, Barham

Rucks-
Cox, Mcintosh

Bench - Jacobs, Spencer

Forwards - Riewoldt, Pavlich, Franklin, Delidio, Krakeour, Ziebell, Sidebottom

Bench - M.Brown, Macaffer

* I think my weaknesses are that I need another premium defender and 2 more premium forwards.

Have been thinking of doing a direct swap from Ziebell > J.Brown (will be cheap as chips in a few weeks) as I will have an extra $98,000 in the bank after this weeks trades. Would also like to get ROK or Stevie J.

Will most likely target in defense Hodge after he has dropped to the low $400,000 mark.

Midfield looks set except for one more gun. Will probably wait to downgrade Rich/Otten to Anthony and then use the cash from that to fix my last midfielder and any other holes.

Thoughts?

sounds like a decent enough plan juddy..

my team.... 14 trades left, $16,400 in the bank.
Backline: Goddard, Lockyer, Cornes, Gilbee, Houlihan, Hurn, Grimes
(Rance, Cheney)
Midfield: Bartel, Gibbs, Cross, Power, Rich, Coughlan
(Robinson, T. Tuck)
Ruck: Cox, Kreuzer
(Mumford, Spencer)
Forward: Davis, Pavlich, Johnson, Deledio, Krakouer, Higgins, Ziebell
(Sidebottom, Brown)

But im going to trade Travis Tuck for Jason Davenport and also Mitch Brown to McGlynn this week.. then next week im HOPING Rance > Hurley.. Rich > Ablett

But im going to trade Travis Tuck for Jason Davenport and also Mitch Brown to McGlynn this week.. then next week im HOPING Rance > Hurley.. Rich > Ablett

I don't like either of those rookie downgrade targets. I can't speak on McGlynn but Davenport's job security is suspect when SBurgoyne and Salopek come back. they are already suggesting him as an OUT this week over on the Power board.

Plus, Rance - Hurley only gets you $80K for the price of one trade AND Rance could be back by then and has more upside in his price.

If you did Houlihan - Broughton that's $300K and then you could go Rich-Ablett in a couple of weeks hopefully.

You've obviously been careful with your trades so far so GOLD STAR for that but don't now start wasting them like that.

Assuming that Houlihan isn't named and Chappy and Higgins are my team will look like this

B: Goddard, Drummond, Cornes, Newman, Gilbee, Gilbert, Grimes (Cheney, Rance)
M: Dal'Santo, Judd (c), Selwood, Gibbs, Power, Cooney (Beams, Barham)
R: Cox, McIntosh (Jacobs, Spencer)
F: Pavlich, Chapman, Deledio, Franklin, Higgins, Lovett, Krackouer (Walker, Warren)

The team above has, in my opinion, rucks, mids and backs that won't change for the rest of the year. Assuming Lovett can average the 95 that he has over the past 4 weeks then I won't be trading him. The same with Higgins if he can get to the 100 that he was averaging before the injury. This leaves Krackouer as the only qestion mark, but it is rumoured that he may go back to the HBF after the close game against Richmond. This should see his scores get back to the standard that we saw in the opening 6 rounds. The team above is vwry nice i think. Things are looking good. Thoughts?

Most likely option at this stage:

Goddard, Fisher, Cornes, Bock, Hodge, Grimes, Broughton (Petrenko, Suckling)

Bartel, Judd, Selwood, Gibbs, Sewell, Rich (Otten, Beams)

Cox, Mcintosh (Jacobs, Spencer)

Chapman, N.Brown, Deledio, J Brown, Franklin, Higgins, Krakouer (Walker, Warren)

Would have 10 trades and 110k in he bank, then next week or the week after Otten > Rookie, Rich > Gaz, quite comfortably.

Pretty happy overall, the punt is kraks. Fingers crossed he can turn it around and if things are going well injury wise towards then end of the year he could become Roo

Carlton Kid, Very nice team indeed, looks like you have used your trades wisely! inwhiterooms backline is similar to mine.. 2 premos not playing!

13 trades left, 74k to play with

Fisher,Newman,Cornes,Hodge,Bock,Hill,Cheney(Broughton,Petrenko)

Ablett,Judd(C),Selwood,Cross,Rich,T Tuck(Beams,Cockie)

Cox,McIntosh(Jacobs,Spencer)

Riewoldt,Pav,Deledio,Franklin,Higgins,Ziebell,Walker(M Brown,Warren)

This week if hopefully T Tuck gets omitted lol as he has a BE of over 100 as I have plans for him next week, it will be Hill > Burgoyne and Petrenko to Grimes.. about 10k short of Gilbee ..Forward line for me is ok as Walker still has a negative BE and Ziebell still has some more cash although i hope he gets a spud score this week! So certainly defence is my annoyance at the moment then T Tuck, who will be Cooney or Power after this round.Or Hill > Grimes and T Tuck > Goodes and about 82k left over!!! feel like I want to do 4 trades!!

I see what your saying about Davenport, but there's not many decent trade downs available in the midfeild.. Do you have any suggestions?
And also about the downgrade of Houlihan.. I've thought about it, but i see that as taking a step backwards. Ive already got 3 rookies in my backline, i figure trading in houlihan for another first year player is a silly move because ill just need to upgrade later this year. But don't get me wrong, id love to get on broughton.

thanks for the advice though, much appreciated!

B: Adcock, Drummond, Mundy, Cornes, Gilbert, Suban, Grimes (Bock, Houliahn)

M: Ablett, Selwood, Bartel, Otten, Rich, Vince (Hartlett, Beams )

R: Cox, McIntosh (Jacobs, Spencer)

F: Pavlich, Delido, SJ, Buddy, Kraks, Higgins, Sidebottom (Walker,Thompson)

About 317k left and 13 trades

Otten to Judd and Houlihan to Goddard next week.

My forward line is my weak point at the moment...

Pavlich, Delidio, Franklin, Higgins, Fevola, Ziebell, Walker
Bench: M Brown, Warren.

Presuming Higgins and Ziebell come back in this week.

I have $247k in the bank... should I bite the bullet and upgrade Fevola to Riewoldt?

Fev's best is awesome... but his bad games are an absolute disgrace. If he was to turn it on for the rest of the year he would be a great bonus, but is the risk worth it??

Fev is injured no doubt, how long it will take him to be right is the major concern.I don't have fev in my team but i would be getting rid of him if i was you i cannot see him getting any better soon and his scores are terribly low which hurts more.

My spud team

Fisher, Drummond, Gilbert, Gilbee, Chad, Hill, Broughton
Dawson, Greenwood

Judd, Goodes, Bartel, Power, Cooney, Coughlan
Robinson, Anthony

Cox, Kosi
Jacobs, Spencer

Davis, Chappy, Pavlich, Riewoldt, J.Brown, Franklin, Higgins
Walker, Brown.

8 trades left- 180K in the bank

Next weeks trades Hill/Dawson- to rookie and Newman + 100K+
Then the following week Higgins+Cash for SJ or Lids
Then in comes Yablett for Walker/Brown to rookie and Coughlin
Should leave me 3 trades for injuries in the last 10 rounds and hopefully i can upgrade Broughton to give me a full team.

I think that will leave me with a fairly strong team but if anyone thinks i should go a different way i would be happy to hear why.

I see what your saying about Davenport, but there's not many decent trade downs available in the midfeild.. Do you have any suggestions?

No, that's the problem at the moment - not a lot of good rookie downgrade options

That's why Broughton at $83K is so enticing

That's why I think we have to be patient and wait rather than trading down to suspect rookies just for the sake of it

Fisher Gilbert Gilbee Enright Adcock Hurn Grimes(for Hill) Broughton Rance
Judd Bartel Kornes Boyd Rich Otten Robinson Sidebottom(for TTuck)
Cox McIntosh Pyke Jacobs
Pavlich Deledio S Johnson J Brown Gia Krak Ziebell M Brown McCaffer

Proposed trades in brackets. Will leave 8 trades & around $400k
Riewoldt Dal Santo Ablett are targets by the time finals come around.
Would you do these trades this week?

Hey guys, I'm after some possibly necessary advice to settle a score in SuperCoach, this is my first year playing the game and I'm down to 11 trades due to the server being down back in round 1.

This is my team currently and I look to trading Houlihan for Broughton before lockout

Drummond-Fisher-Grimes-C.Cornes-Hill-Raines-Myers (Houlihan-Bock)

Ablett-Judd-Foley-Hasleby-Rich-Dangerfield (Tuck-Beams)

Cox-McIntosh (Leuenberger-Currie)

Riewoldt-Johnson-Higgins-Brown-Krakouer-Ziebell-Dowler (Skipworth-Thorp)

Any help would be appreciated. As I said, I'll trade Houlihan for Broughton today (I'm sure this is a good move), which will leave me with 10 trades and $382,800

Cheers guys

Hey guys i'm still trying to strengthen my back line, I've got 16 trades left and $36,300 in the bank

I was looking to make the following trades

Houlihan 378,600 out
Broughton 83,400 in

Raines 279,900 or Hill 367,400 out ????
Birchal 494,900 in

This will leave me with what I think is a better backline and either 116,500 or 203,000 in then bank depending on the Raines/Hill decision?? Then I'll tinker with my Walker situation!

Backs: B.Goddard, S.Gilbert, C.Cornes, L.Gilbee, S.Hill, J.Grimes, A.Raines R.Houlihan, L.Greenwood

Mids: S.Pendlebury, C.Judd, J.Selwood, B.Gibbs, T.Boak, D.Rich, D.Beams, L.Anthony

Rucks: D.Cox, H.McIntosh, J.Meesen, A.Browne

Forwards: A.Davey, S.Goodwin, P.Chapman, S.Higgins, N.Brown, B.Fevola, J.Ziebell, S.Sidebottom, T.Walker
