What is Freeman? A young player we were hoping to have at our club for a very long time. If our medicos contributed to his fitness problems, then I can understand him wanting to leave, but the comparison with Ball is ludicrous.

Injuries completely derail Freeman's value in terms of a premium pick. Collingwood left him to last with the least priority. That shows his worth. Doesn't mean he can't be a gun for Saint Kilda but does show injuries may screw his career over....many precedents... Gumbleton, D Thomas etc...

Saints can risk the salary while they are in rebuild to find out if he cant get it together.

Pick should be devalued to around 18-30.

You do get that the contract and $$$ offered are different to the pick right...

Also you do know freeman has nominated the saints. If his manager is sending him off to a club with an inferior offer then wow!!! Something's tells me, we made him the best offer and everyone is happy with his decision
