He was a star in his prime for both the dogs and for the tigers.
Kicked 16 goals this season with only 13 games played, news has it that 4 clubs are having a sniff and are possibly looking to take him to add some X - Factor into the forward line. He had a fairly ordinary season and didn't get the run he deserved due to Richmond looking to play a younger side. When Nate did play, injury would take a toll on his performance and he would look very shaken and would fall behind. He has undergone surgery, the same as Chris Judd had in 2007 when he had his days of hobbling around and having fans worried, Chris Judd has regained his pace and is looking good again as from then.

Would you want him? If your side got him would you be disappointed?

100% sure one of the 4 clubs wouldnt be the Bombers.

Could offer something to a contender, but I think he's best days are long gone

Doubt he will get picked up, smells more like his manager leaking to a journalist that there is interest from a number of clubs to generate interest from a club. Only clubs that may have a small interest due to having no small forwards is Brisbane.

I hope somebody takes him. Weaken up another opposition in the next few years. Best days were pre-Richmond.

I wnated him back THEN.

Not now.

Was a star in his prime. Matchwinner and game changer. Pointless for anyone to pick him up now.

Except MAYBE a Geelong or St.Kilda who are right on the brink of multiple flags.
Would be great fun watching Stevie J and Browny in the fwd line. Let the fireworks begin :D

I wouldn't want to see him running around in a Saints guernsey. Far past his best and I'd rather see us developing one of our younger mids or Gwilt into a medium sized forward. I don't see how he would even get a game with Roo, Kosi, Schneider and Milne still running around.

Carlton should go for him.
Do we need a player to make Stevens and Scotland look fast and accountable? ;)

Brown would struggle to get a game ahead of Yarran, Garlett, Robinson, Joseph, Browne and Grigg next year. Let alone Houlihan who looks to have a found new lease on life after getting over his injuries.

The 12-10 rule would have Brown playing in the VFL seconds behind the player we draft with pick 11.

He is not the player he once was, that much is obvious.

If he could somehow convince a club that he could get his body up to a higher standard of fitness which would allow him to play far better football than he is playing then perhaps a couple of clubs might look to take a gamble.

Still not convinced anyone is looking at him in a serious way, you wouldn't really expect rapid improvement out of a bloke his age.

The difference is Judd was 24? And Brown is turning 32? Brown is gone IMO....Hall and Robbo would be better options, especially at Carlton.
