Lets say North Melbourne makes the 8, its pick 12 or something.
That's the best situation. Bottom 6 finish will make them a funny stock.
From the AFL draft tracker;
Murphy Reid
A midfielder-forward who has speed to burn which allows him to burst away from congestion and use the ball with precision. Reads the game exceptionally well, is a prolific ball winner and creative and innovative when in congestion. Was outstanding at the National Championships, averaging 24.5 disposals (9.2 contested), 3.2 clearances and 3.2 tackles across the four matches which included dominant displays against South Australia and the Allies. Was rewarded by winning Victoria Metro’s MVP award as well as All Australian honours. Was also a star at club level, averaging 21 disposals and kicking 14 goals in 10 matches for the Sandringham Dragons. Capped the year with his second Coates Talent League premiership and selection in the Team of the Year.
Personally I wouldn’t mind trading 34 for the right price.
You’d be right - I can’t recall the comp just remember at the time not seeing a lot there in his highlights and Johnson’s last state game of the season I watched thinking he’s not what I expected after the strong pre draft reviews. Reid looks a step up from them with awareness and disposal quality.I think Ras's highlights were mostly him playing at a high school level comp...? This is at least a couple of grades below the quality afield at the National U18s. Reid is doing some very smart and slick stuff.
ClarkeSo who are we thinking we will get tomorow?
Banners doesnt have a forward spot anymore. The forward line is between JJJ, Freddy, Switta, Sturt Walters and Bolton.
I heard he was sick of home and desperately wanted to come to WA so told all the VIC clubs not to take him. It’s odd to me that the Vic metro MVP can slide to pick 17 unless he just played out of his skin for a few matches. Any knocks on him apart from the conjecture about his pace?
Probably size in a draft full of tall midfielders. It’s odd to me that the Vic metro MVP can slide to pick 17 unless he just played out of his skin for a few matches. Any knocks on him apart from the conjecture about his pace?
Seems like an evenly ranked group? Both he and Allan had been talked up as top 5-10 chances. Even Berry was getting a little bit of top 10 stuff recently. Someone has to go last out of that lot. It’s odd to me that the Vic metro MVP can slide to pick 17 unless he just played out of his skin for a few matches. Any knocks on him apart from the conjecture about his pace?
I don't like it. Gives an obvious loophole to those who can't spell which might end SnuffaluphagusIs this Clarke kid a running half back? If so can we have Clark and Clarke running around back there? Or would it be too much?
Didn’t test in the combine due to a late season injury. It’s odd to me that the Vic metro MVP can slide to pick 17 unless he just played out of his skin for a few matches. Any knocks on him apart from the conjecture about his pace?
I could only speculate but he's 182cm which is small for a mid, and he is coming off some sort of knee injuryIt’s odd to me that the Vic metro MVP can slide to pick 17 unless he just played out of his skin for a few matches. Any knocks on him apart from the conjecture about his pace?

I can see it now. Jordan will be Clarke and the new kid will be Clark. Just to confuse the shit out of everyone who can spell.I don't like it. Gives an obvious loophole to those who can't spell which might end Snuffaluphagus

GWS list management:I'm loving the random bolters. Old mate coming in from 89th to the Giants was awesome.
Also, is Kingsley's game plan to stick Taylor and Buckley in the backline and then play 20 small forwards or something?
GWS seem obsessed with torching value, in a whole different world and have been for years nowPretty interesting night all things considered:
A) What the actual **** are GWS doing. Just completely ****ing bizarre but hidden amongst other weird things
B) Sydney had better hope Armstrong is no good because they also had a head scratcher all things considered following that Grand Final
C) **** this stupid points system letting Brisbane load up for another generation for basically free
D) I am incredibly jealous of Richmond (which must be extra melt worthy for WC fans watching what they've done the last month). Lucky in this draft and all but they completely broke North and GC for their own benefit, made WC pay absolute full price for an uncontracted player and made us pay fair. Once in a lifetime draft and trade period to go with a once in a lifetime dynasty.
E) While I touch on North, really, you cant overstate how dogshit they are. They literally ignore KPPs at the top end of a draft while fully rebuilding, then pay well and truly overs for a midget in trade period which forces them to give up what will almost certainly be a top 5 pick for two picks in the 20s. Dogshit club, but thanks for buying Perth home games.
F) Stinker first up effort for Rosa as well trading out of a Kako bid that likely wouldnt have come (a nd they could have just gotten Norths pick anyway like someone said). #BringBackDodo
