What’s with 1870 crammed into the base of the A? It’s tiny so it won’t even be legible in small applications and it looks off-centre anyway. Get rid of that fussy shit it throws the whole thing off balance.

As I’ve said before it was always going to be a conservative or “safe” design as the Club obviously want it to appeal to the majority.
Like it or not BigFooty is only a small albeit passionate part of the supporter base.

I have to ask if the posted image is actually the leaked official 150 logo or is it just someone's photoshopped idea of what it might look like or maybe a boutique brewer's attempt to cash in on the 150 thing?

If it is legit then it's OK as it reflects our past and is in keeping with the modern day minimalist thinking. I would have liked a Magpie but Eddie and by default the AFL obviously would not approve a Magpie anywhere near a PAFC logo so I guess what we see in that image is pretty close to what we will get.

Whatever the logo it will obviously will be all over the merchandise but will the players wear it on their guernsey or shorts? It seems like a marketing opportunity that is too good to miss.

Yeah I think the P is a touch shorter than the A. F@&k knows why the letters aren’t the same size.

I still like it more than the NewEra one but essentially it’s an inferior version of bomber’s monogram.

I've been of the view that the new logo leaks we've seen to date should be taken with a grain of salt as there hasn't been any mention of "150" on/with the logo, however the one above (no. 1152 Chokito) does have it (albeit in text underneath the logo). It's looking more likely that this is the one then. I like it, but not love it: acceptable for now.

Given the official announcement is at the brewery I would think it’s highly unlikely that this is their own version of it and not the real thing

The other burning question is will this be a one off for the 150th year or will it be adopted permanently? If it is the latter then the lack of a magpie is probably not a big deal but for a celebratory thing it would have been nice to have fitted one in. Either way I will not lose any sleep over it. It is what it is.

PS As the logo shown is on a beer can I will defer to you as an expert in this matter.
