Hopefully InCase doesn't mind that I've started this thread after he did last year. Basically just a place to put all new confirmed jumpers in here (with pics of course). If you have any rumours then feel free to discuss here as well.

Also, if there are any sponsor or apparel changes - stick 'em here.

Looks a little empty for now but I'm sure over the off-season it will fill up, as it always does.

Apparel Changes

Melbourne - Reebok to New Balance
Fremantle - Reebok to ISC
Richmond - Reebok to KooGa
Brisbane - Puma to KooGa

So KooGa and ISC are becoming the new Reebok and Puma in terms of providing apparel for the majority of AFL teams - interesting...

Oh and cheers for the info coxy :thumbsu:

here are the totals (afaik)

ISC - 4 (Fremantle, Sydney, Geelong, St Kilda)
KooGa - 3 (Western Bulldogs, Brisbane, Richmond)
Reebok - 3 (Port, Adelaide, Gold Coast)
Puma - 2 (Hawthorn, West Coast)
Adidas - 2 (Essendon, Collingwood)
Nike - 1 (Carlton)
X-Blades - 1 (North Melbourne)
New Balance - 1 (Melbourne)

Well there's a bit of talk on the Crows and Port boards about that Reebok might of pulled out of the AFL manufacturing business, which would effect Port, the Crows and the GC. Also haven't Puma already confirmed (last year???) that they won't be making guernsey's from 2011 onwards so expect changes from West Coast and also Hawthorn (whom Puma have sponsored for over 30 years)

(p.s want to change that signature GANTY? ;) )

Don't think Hawks will change from Puma this year. Our new guernseys have been released with minor alterations. The Tasmania logo has gone from UPPERCASE to lowercase.

Also would expect GC to have Reebok for at least a year, don't see much point in producing the new jumpers and sponsoring them throughout the VFL if they pull out before the 2011 season starts.

seen a small gif of the new balance kit for melbourne, looks quite good IMO, the new balance logo isn't half as bad as people make it out to be and they have some good ideas

I could of almost sweared that i read somewhere that Puma were pulling out of their AFL team sponsorships (being a reason why Sydney went to ISC last year  and Brisbane to KooGa this year) might be after the 2011 season if the Hawks '11 guernsey's made by them then. Also Reebok rumours are only flying around due to sudden big clearance prices for both Adelaide and Port Reebok gear which almost always leads to a brand change for the next season.

No. Why would I do that??Besides you being a Crows supporter.

nah, because Morphies U/18s got stripped of their premiership due to fielding an unqualified player in the Finals and Grand Final. It's all over the local paper and SFL website.

If it is true, which it does look likely. It would be when the contract with the clubs finish. They wont pull out of their contract just let it finish and that be the end of it.

Don't forget Essendon also had to find a new apparel sponsor.

Ohh yeh, I didnt read the comment properly and thought you ment my Port avatar:eek:

Ive thought about changing it a couple of times and been sidetacked so I havnt yet. Also Morphies are challenging the decision so Im hoping for the best still, but I guess I will change it now.

i like the idea if the 3 stripe clubs going with adidas, reebok is now owned by adidas and they have a limit of how much they want to spend aus wide which includes the afl clubs, nrl and a-league. They are scaling it down a fair bit aswel and will not re-sign to the a-league after this yr.

isc are an australian company so its good to see them cracking into the market.

I didn't realise this thread was here too, but I posted this in the suggestion thread...

Im a sports store manager and recently went to a 2011 footy showing at Windy Hill.

For those who hate the Adidas template, you will be happy to know it is changing in 2011. Collingwood will no longer have the arch in the back containing the 3 stripes but rather revert to the traditional 3 stripe design. They will also remove the logo from their chest and add a small ">" and "<" looking thing on each side of the front 3 white stripes. I think that has to do with the template. For memory, Essendon will have a straighter slash. The collar will be more V necked with the Adidas logo inside rather than the current round neck and be similar to Nike's design.

I also heard Reebok (which is owned by Adidas) is pulling out of Australian Football and not stocking boots and apparel in the country. I'm not sure how this works when Gold Coast is sponsored by Reebok in 2011. But as reported earlier Melbourne already has a new apparel sponsor in New Balance.

So Reebok has definatly scaled back, and from what I was told by Adidas employees, Reebok will not be involved in boots and apparel for 2011. We will just have to wait and see what happens with the Suns, Power and Crows.

And I'm not a fan of the new ISC logo FWIW.
