to be honest i really liked the curved collar and the arch on the back of the jersey but i think with any other team it wouldnt workThough i am glad the adidas curved line is gone
Richmonds warm up guernseys look awesome - should replace the pre season tops with it.
If you didn't see it, I just got a glimpse on the TV, it had the tiger head in the same position but instead of the swirly mess they have a subtle (it was grey on a black warm up shirt) tiger stripe pattern, looked great.

How are you watching this in the UK out of interest mate?
That Collingwood clash looks amazing. If the Emirates logo were black-on-white, it'd be perfect.

yeh and the wierd collarCollingwood's looks good except for the weird shoulder panel, it looks completely unnecessary.
idk bout that the red looks pretty good imoThat Collingwood clash looks amazing. If the Emirates logo were black-on-white, it'd be perfect.
my attemt at the COLLINGWOOD CLASH
Before X-Blades was their sponsor the Mazda logo just had a white outline, instead of a whole box around it which completely interrupts the stripe. The club logo is also an unnecessary addition to the jumper that interrupts the stripes and throws off the balance.
As for the actual design, I guess it's a mild improvement. Hopefully the blue is a bit darker this time but I'm very surprised they didn't use the old V design after they published this. Another good option in my opinion would have been something like this which doesn't move away from the stripes.
This new adidas Collingwood template is extremely confusing to interpret; angles, stripes and lines everywhere.
The white clash looks to be a new template altogether from the black home (and possible black clash), with the sides having a seemingly vertical, erm, seam. However, due to the body-hugging/contoured nature of the jumper, this actually contradicts the vertical stripes, hence the weird triangle bits on the smaller-sized jumpers.
ie. what is the "striaght" line here, the design's stripe or the template's seam?
Really not sure how I can translate this into an accurate template for you guys

I believe what Adidas has done with their football guernseys over the past few seasons is a disgrace. I'm all for incorporating new technology and performance elements, but FFS, at the end of the day it is a football jumper. They need to stop over-complicating the design/template/production.
I see absolutely no need for whatever the hell that abortion of colours/triangles/seams on down the sides of the Collingwood clash guernsey. How hard can it be to make a white jumper with three black stripes and leave the sides clean, without all the crap. It adds nothing to the jumper but clutter and inconsistency between different sized players. And don't get me started on those awful cuffs, shoulders and stripes above the numbers.
EDIT: Have noticed Crows new shorts sponsor whilst watching on TV, no longer Fielders, will post when I can interpret what it says (if it hasn't already been said somewhere).
