nope, from memory it was a white background and was also a iron print on as they changed the logo during the season...

One game back in 2001/02 Michael Gardiner had a '1' like this.

Can't find a picture of it but if you go through the games archive you'll see it.

For Brisbane, the curve now sits above the club logo. No change to the straight lines for the other two though.

Back logo looks terrible. The BBFFC should sit below the Fitzroy lion. It looks far too cluttered, almost like a secondary back sponsor. Obviously the best solution is to clean it up and put the Fitzroy lion on the front. But that won't happen for 50 years...

As for the Bulldogs jumpers, the back sponsor sits very well. Certainly going to have an odd impression on the rest of the design.

The Dogs red away is different.

And I don't get the Lions stripe on the shorts being different to the rest of the teams.

And I agree, the logo's behind the jumper, worked on paper, but have not been pulled off well enough.

I like the WB away. Will help in clashes with North and Geelong I guess.

As for Brisbane's jumper. I have always though the new lion head on that full body looks really akward.

It's good for sales in the short run, but now by introducing 3 new guernseys in 1 year, you would expect that they won't release another one for a few years with the only alteration being a collar change.

That's what they want.
In the next two years, they wanna sell as much as they can, so they will flog the three designs.
I wonder if they wear red shorts with it.

I like the idea, making a third jumper of your own colour, and no stupid cartoon heads on it.
Not that they need a third, but as I said it's marketing.

I don't mind the red Western Bulldogs design. Three variations on a pretty original, classy looking jumper is not bad at all. I might even buy the red away.

Looks like they were trialing them as their training guernsey, along with the home guernsey, like Freo did in 2010.
