Hope the fact Darcy is wearing the same as this years' jumper doesn't mean we're stuck with the toilet lid for another season. Although Asics have a history of updating the collar after two seasons, it would seem odd if this photo-op didn't include next year's kit.View attachment 2163800

The 100 year logo is going to feature on the jumper, so the one Darcy is wearing isn't the 2025 kit.

Agreed. Let’s not forget that in the past couple of years, the Giants have gone without a back sponsor (for a few rounds) and a shorts sponsor (for most of the season)

They don’t exactly have brands queuing up for a spot on their apparel

Yeah, glad to see (hopefully) that the spot hasn't been sold off. I think GWS need to work a bit more with New Balance/Belgravia more than they did with Puma, felt like a real lack of love in gear compared to North, Richmond and Carlton

Puma probably didnt care enough to put time into them. Not sure belgravia will care with west coast, brisbane and Melbourne on their roster

Nope, same as current kit (RE Mazda logo). I think it got slightly bigger between 23-24, though

Looks to me that they're really invested in the league, and dropping GWS and North seems to be a conscious choice to focus on clubs with bigger fanbases or dominate the TV landscape. Also, while i'm sure north fans will be sad going from puma to kookaburra. At least it's not worse than when St kilda went with Pipin hot.

It’s all small potatoes for brands like Puma, NB etc

Very limited market that is concentrated to an existing supporter base within 1 city. No matter the team.

It’s nice visibility for the brand within Australia but the teams themselves aren’t where the cash is.

I had high hopes for the jumper but surely they’re not just gonna wear what is essentially plain red? Is it a downgrade on the old jumper, I’m not sure. The less is more approach is the right idea but it looks like they went for “absolutely nothing is more”.
