Immediately because the start from beginning function worked. Full replays without commercials by the end of the day.

No Giants season on prime but looks like all the rest are there including the most recent on with the bears. Dunno what that's about.

Prime have in season with the AFC north. I see it advertised on Max all the time but given how Hard Knocks has been [other the the offseason one] i havent cared to watch it.

They would likely keep the Kayo platform the same at the start. but jack up the price to $50 a month and slowly gut it

I would imagine Foxsports would still run itself like it has under Foxtel/Newscorp. Owners keep a hands off approach otherwise its asking for issues.

a rebrand would be bad for everyone. DAZN has no name here, people know Fox so changing that would hurt more then help.

I haven't kept track of DANZ acquisition strategy (I mean, why would you?) But the obvious difference between the NFL and AFL is that one is a bidded and won contract the other is an existing rights deal that has some years to run.

So at a minimum there will be obligations the AFL will hold them to especially since Foxtels acquisition doesn't represent a new cash windfall to them.

Reckon for the immediate future, Foxtel won't change much but just add the DANZ service to their portal like they have already done with Netflix etc.

Kayo though might be absorbed into the DANZ portal quickly.

Well point 1 is good, point 3 could be good like DAZN buy global rights to some sports/events and put some on Foxsports or introduce a DAZN channel.

1 is the only good thing and its huge for fans of sports Foxsports produce, Kayo price would go up. they might use the Kayo backend to rebuild DAZN since the kayo app seems to be better.

I think Kayo should be fine for another 2-3 years other then a price rise or new plans locking 4K in a new tier.
But eventually they will f**k it up.

Although you know they will kill the WatchAFL app for international fans and sell it through DAZN now. but likely remove the Fox Footy live stream in WatchAFL. and charge more.

so non Aussie AFL fans will feel the pain before we do. But at least that wont take place till 2026 since the deal wont be ticked off for at least 6 months.
