Who are the 6-7 River that you would be calling over summer...........and have you got their numbers I'll pass them onto our recruiting team to see if they want to play Div 3 seniors next year

Football is cyclical. Wasn’t that long ago the Tigers missed finals for consecutive years. If Mont can get their sh1t together i.e. make some shrewd additions to their list + overcome the Preston hoodoo they will make a serious claim to the throne. If I was an opposition coach there’s about 6-7 blokes who ran around in Heidelberg’s twos on Saturday I would be ringing over summer. I’m still trying to get my head around the fact Vinnie Dattoli is now a Premiership coach at Heidelberg considering he was probably our greatest nemesis of the 2000s. I’m so glad he’s on our side now.

I think they (Mont) need to overcome more than a Preston hoodoo! They were choking back in the Epping days as well.
They need to look at the culture at the joint and fix that first!

Not much chat on here re: grand final. To go back to back and only lose two games in two years is a pretty phenomenal effort. Hearing former Collingwood defender Sam Mclarty is a definite lock for the Bergs next year but to be honest As long as Heidelberg have Gilmore, Smith and Wilson they will keep winning flags.

Think people are sick of talking about Heidelberg and winning flags tbh.

Absolutely, if the talk of players pushing out the coach is true, and one of if not their most important players leaves, there is a whole lot more than a Preston hoodoo to worry about.

thats exactly where they should start with re building the culture!
but they will start with a new coach, pay big bucks to players= same results

I heard west thought it was a done deal tbf.

There is a few coaches that have quite a few offers in front of them. I reckon a couple of clubs will be left scrambling!

Monty chasing Maiorana hard. Would be a fantastic fit for Mont who just need to give him the time and back him unconditionally.

No coach would be safe at Mont, if you dont win a Flag you are out the door.

Ramsay could coach and did well previously.

They announced Saad as a recruit and Leigh Tudor as a coach within the space of an hour.

Thats flexing some muscle.

Saad a top 5 player in the comp over the last decade. West will need to find plenty.

I just saw Marshall got life membership at Bundoora last night. That works make it very hard for him to leave next year, if that was true.
