thats exactly where they should start with re building the culture!
but they will start with a new coach, pay big bucks to players= same results
I have quite a lot of mates in Monty twos and they're frustrated with the lack of opportunities given to them as they keep buying new players. Next year will be a very interesting year for them real make or break season could see them dropping right down once Buxton departs

The same frustration goes on at any top club.

Look at the talent running around outside the Heidelberg senior side.

The connection between the 19’s and seniors WAS very strong in recent years, but isn’t any more after 2023. I think he was a big part of that problem.
You'll find that the U19 coaches were the problem. Prioritised winning over player development and (from what i'm told by two U19 players) strongly dissuaded players from playing seniors to focus on a premiership. Club was well aware, footy manager was at his wits end, and they even suspended an U19 player during the year who refused to play seniors.

This was a club problem that Luke inherited.

Going to be interesting to see how many stay and aim for senior football now that they are out of U19's.

I don’t think this is an uncommon problem clubs face with u19 coaches.
Especially when clubs are struggling.
But suspending a player for not wanting to play Seniors is a massive call!!

Hearing a few big name coaches holding up the dominos to start falling.

It’s now October and Boro, WP, Mont and Bund don’t have a coach. From my sources quite a few clubs state wide are pushing for the same coach/coaches.
