Given the amount of time coaching Div1 seniors demands, I am surprised how many do it. The toll on family life can be very high amongst other things like the scrutiny social media now affords.
The money is very very good and tax free.

30k is an extra $570 tax free on top of your wage every week all year…

Surprised to see Bundoora rercruit Philp in the reserves on weekend. If not playing VFL why would he been the reserves?
“For each season of service to the club (minimum 5 senior or reserves games per season), even if not in consecutive years, until the player reaches 1 point”

Is why id imagine

Returning from a longer term injury, maybe played very managed minutes

Thanks but 10 mins of quality each qtr in seniors would be better than reserves footy limited game time
Who knows, maybe Borough released him with conditions?

Ouch, big penalty stripping the second bottom team with 0% chance of finals of their points :drunk:
What were the fine amounts I wonder?

Hearing Bundoora will forfeit their seconds for tomorrow’s match at Heidelberg, why wouldn’t they forfeit the U/19s play what ever amount of them in the seconds to make up the numbers . Not fielding a second side is a bad look, nobody would notice if their U/19s forfeit.
