Does greensy have the depth to stay up
Having lost Rogers mcquliken and craker

aswell Smith injured. Add posar Pickett presser and beames solid Talls going out
They have a super strong junior program with new under 19s coming through. All losses but all go those blokes nearing the end of their career. They lost 1 game in their reserves last year. They’ll still be strong

Actually the GJFC is nowhere near as strong as it once was. What the senior club do a great job of, either from the club or just the players themselves, is getting good local players from the area that may have played juniors elsewhere but have friends at the club, in the door at under 19s and keeping them.

Your overall point, though, is spot on. Their depth last year was unbelievable.

Outstanding culture Whittlesea have with 21/22 playing again this year. Pretty easy to jump ship after a flag as we’ve seen from other clubs, but good to see they are up to the challenge of D1.
Just look at the bloke steering the ship
Stinger is one of the best operators in the game. He was unbelievable when pulling the jumper on and starting to build a resume as a coach that will more than likely out do his playing days. Never underestimate what Whittlesea could do this year.

Totally agree Swooping, quality bloke and will be a quality coach..

"The NFNL under-19 competition will feature its highest number of teams in a decade, with 21 teams set to compete in season 2020.
The first four rounds of the under-19 competition will again be graded, with the final composition of the two divisions to be confirmed at the conclusion of Round 4. "

Let's hope they get the fixture as good as they can this year, last year as a nightmare arranging trainers for a 19s game in one place and the rest of the club elsewhere. A tough ask but such a strain on club resources last year.

It won’t happen clearly minimum 3 senior clubs in div 1,where 19s will run around in div 2.

Days of three teams running around at the same venue of a Saturday every week are gone.

Macleod had a good hit out against Glenroy last night. Both obviously had a few out still but they did look good. Only seen a 1/4 on the way home though.
