Spoke to an Epping person today who told me that they offered these guys a good package that they thought was enough to get them over the line, but the Demon’s got under their guard and came in with an offer too good to refuse.

Wasn't just Epping from what I'm told, and good on them both I say.
They've had a good look around, found a club with room in their cap, alebit surprisingly in March and have landed somewhere that aligns with themselves financially for their services in 2025.

Players often seem to cop the rough end of the stick with terms like "mercanies" etc, but it's committee's and sometimes coaches who determine the worth at the end of the day.

I'm no different ... if Willy Wonka offered me $10k more I'd leave Nestle tomorrow.

Ivanhoe off to Ararat tomorrow with our first look as supporters at some of the new players and start the process of brining a pretty different list together for season 2025. They are all heading up on the bus and win, lose or draw it should be a great trip together - and a few rehydrators on the way home.

Good luck to all teams over the weekend playing games and hopefully no/limited injuries - we have had a shocker to start the season - but that's footy and gives some others an opportunity.
