Would be nice if the NFNL opened the transfers earlier than first week of Feb. So hard to keep up with all the movementsHe seems to have signed for some country team. Was in the D1 thread.
It’s a disgrace by AFL vic to not have these open in November. Players move clubs and clubs should be able to lock their commitment in.Would be nice if the NFNL opened the transfers earlier than first week of Feb. So hard to keep up with all the movements
You mean clubs can kick in players. It’s a disgrace by AFL vic to not have these open in November. Players move clubs and clubs should be able to lock their commitment in.

Last year was February too if I recall. In any case, with a new system, I'd have thought it would have been better to do it earlier, incase there are any bugs, and they have more time to fix them.I believe it's this year only that it is so (Feb not Nov) late due to the move of systems buy most competitions to PlayHQ? Is that the case?
I think most clubs would know who they have locked away / some agreement with I would think, just opposition clubs don't. Yes, one or two may flip and change their mind from what they were saying in November, but if they did would you want them at your club just because they 'signed'?
It will make Feb and March bloody exciting though

hey mate, old ogger mate of mine who set up playhq told me mid last year that as all comps that move to playhq will lose sight of all clearances. Therefore only comps that are not on playhq will be only ones that can see clearances.I believe it's this year only that it is so (Feb not Nov) late due to the move of systems buy most competitions to PlayHQ? I think you’ll find there’s none of that “rah rah, jolly good show, how’s the investment portfolio going old chap” Ammos talk around these parts Tim.hey mate, old ogger mate of mine
Personally TB - I am not to fussed about who is or is not cleared via the system. Most quality recruits get announced so you have some sort of understanding.hey mate, old ogger mate of mine who set up playhq told me mid last year that as all comps that move to playhq will lose sight of all clearances. As all comps are on different programs, all clearances to a playhq sight will be blocked!
And playhq clearances wont be updated until all comps are on same program.
Let me know which club you are after and I will hit him up!
Cant see clearances on Play HQ for local cricket comps . We did. It was a bloody nightmare. Absolute shambles of a roll out.Cant see clearances on Play HQ for local cricket comps . Seems every player had to reregister
I wonder how clubs can deny a clearance then? Players who still have a jumper or owe the club money had to sort it out in previous years in order to get aWe did. It was a bloody nightmare. Absolute shambles of a roll out.
Thats VG numbers indeed! Need an ump for praccy matches? Hopefully NFL rate me enough to give me high level 2s game!!Personally TB - I am not to fussed about who is or is not cleared via the system. Most quality recruits get announced so you have some sort of understanding.
I read on our socials we had a good turn up last night. Spoke to committee person this morning and they said almost 50 trained with 10 on side lines and another 10 regulars still away. Gives us good numbers for two sides and competition for spots. Not sure how the quality will stack up against Div 3 NFNL but we had about 20 on track this time last year!!

ah yes but back in the day the Oggers were not that type of bloke! Lot of country blokes played there. I didnt school there which didnt see me on the outer of the inner circle, not like clubs of higher grade.I think you’ll find there’s none of that “rah rah, jolly good show, how’s the investment portfolio going old chap” Ammos talk around these parts Tim.
Ivanhoe and the OPs are going to cop enough s**t without you throwing fuel on the fire
Also I said Old Ogger mate to shit stir P Rawley as he really wanted to play with us in early noughties.I think you’ll find there’s none of that “rah rah, jolly good show, how’s the investment portfolio going old chap” Ammos talk around these parts Tim.

Seemed to have had a really good off season, better than most could have imagined so you’d guess they’d be ok.Everyone is worried about Lalor and numbers, i still have concerns for Reservoir. Anyone seen how they are on the track?
