In 2021, the VAFA granted permission for alcohol to be consumed at luncheons until the end of half time.

Thursday night there may have been some overheard ordinary comments that has resulted in this

Fantastic game at Ivanhoe park both sides can be proud about the effort they put in.
Parade jumped us early , we reeled them back in and were in front for almost the whole last qtr until the last minute or two. Even on the siren the ball was 10 meters out and about to fall into ( maybe ) Ash Closes hands just before the siren blared.
Both defenses stood strong in an arm wrestle and Gilmore is obviously a different class at this level.
Still buoyant about the Hoes going forward. 500 plus watching and the bar run dry is a good sign

With the amount of $$$ they have spent they should be, disappointed in Lalor results , they are just not clicking with the amount of new faces, expect better and better showings in coming weeks

VFL listed at the Pies and playing against Lalor on his weeks off :/

With the amount of $$$ they have spent they should be, disappointed in Lalor results , they are just not clicking with the amount of new faces, expect better and better showings in coming weeks

I think you are being a tad too harsh they are at least 120 points better off defensively and about 30 to 40 points offensively if was they coach it would be positive messaging to the group that they are on the right track

Just pathetic isnt it - Every other league post tribunal & umpire appointments each week but not the NFL.
Some people question why the NFL cop so much abuse and the officials at many clubs think all that they are good at is imposing fines and collecting the money to perfection - Many basic services that clubs and supporters want are just not supplied.

NFL never posted Tribunal results each week last season and there were reports each week - every 3 weeks if you were lucky
Umpire appointments usually posted each Friday on the NFL website - I couldnt care less about who the umpires are personally but I know some coaches like to get the details.

No reports from Parade Ivanhoe. Was a big turnout at Hoe Park. 400 I reckon.

Hoes fell down up forward. Full credit to Parade wbo defended well. Looking at other results we are shaping up midfield

Nothing separating the top sides. Going to be a fantastic season and a great finals series you’d think.

Depends how OP go without Gilmore once he goes away.
Turtles, Stars, Epping and then Ivanhoe, Mernda, OP battle for final 2 spots. OP made much lighter work of West. Surprised Mernda only won by that much.

Mernda finish top 3 everyday for mine.

Turtles, Epping, Stars, Mernda are locks for mine. Parade, Ivanhoe and Kinglake fight for the final spot

We copped two longer term injuries on the weekend unfortunately - but they should be back in around 6ish weeks

Have really enjoyed our first two weeks in the NFNL and looking forward to continuing to improve as we adjust to things.
