Team Captain
Pretty good debut, saw him shepherding a few times and that ruck tap that he roved himself was amazing, once his fitness is up he'll be a star.

Should be the same for the rest of the youngsters.
If you've seen a picture of him with his shirt off, you'd realize that he doesn't really need any more bulking up. He's already a monster at a 100kg. He's a tank. His height and his jumper hides his muscle. Another 10kg over a few more preseasons won't affect his athleticism but will make him unstoppable physically.
Of more concern to me is getting him to peak fitness. Then his chasing and tackling will be brought to the fore.
Naitanui won't just be too fast for the slow ruckmen he'll play on, but also too quick for half the midfielders going around the league. Again it's a fitness issue that needs to be sorted before we'll see this on display.
great athlete...but really nothing but a showbag atm...hope he can get footy smart then he will be a star...good signs tho
You've got him confused for Richmond since about 1983.
According to the 2009 AFL Prospectus, Nicholas Naitanui is 201cm and 94kg. If he get up around the 106kg mark while maintaining his athleticism, he'll be unstoppable athletically, and he's already pretty awesome in that regard.
hey even as a freo fan and eagles disliker, i was really excited every time nicnat got near the ball. Excitement machine and sublime skills. i'd watch eagles games just to see him play. Next derby shud be good - nicknat and hilly

I just wished they'd set the ball just above the pack so he could jump up, it's the ultimate strategy.
