Cashie, Kearney and Garner, run the whole ground and take the game on. They are the play makers.

I said at half time that the test would be how quickly we could turn it around - four goals to us vs. one goal to the opposition (and that gifted to them with a ridiculous 50m penalty), and a very distinct increase in effort/pressure on our part, says we can switch things for the better at short notice, which is a good sign.

With that said, we're still 7 points down - one good quarter doesn't undo the damage, we need to bring the same intensity as that last quarter again, and not wait until things get as bad as a 27-point half-time deficit before we bother. But the signs are a lot more positive than they were half an hour ago...

Got on top of the free kicks that quarter simply because we were first to the ball. There's nothing more to it.

Great quarter from Garner and Riddell, and Bruton improved too. Three girls that we needed to respond and they did. Bannister is the Zurhaar of this team. Loves the way she plays, and Grace Campbell looks a nice prospect too.

Just quietly, I love how Paxman is allowed to drop it while being tackled.

In the immortal words of Wesley Willis...

Cuuuuut Theeee Mullllett
I don't mind the mullet. It's the little tufts of hair under the ear that disgust me.
