Sorry fellas but all good things must come to an end. And the end is coming when you venture next week to the bigsmoke.;)

With Hall Saddington aND dAVIS OUT .... I dont think so. But by all means stay and watch the best team in AFL strut their stuff.

Surely SCG will sellout for this one?

Could possible move to Telstra Stadium for extra cash, or is league playing on Sunday?

Its always a little humurous when clubs from "regional" areas come to the metropolis and gaze in wonder at the splendor and pagentary.

Other supporters, get in now with the congratulations for us giving the young upstarts a reality check this weekend. We will be doing you all a favour.

Sydney will worry the Saints at the SCG...

I don't think it suits St Kilda's style of play and they rarely win up there, Sydney are hardly setting the world on fire but I'm sure they'll be much more competetive at home against the Saints than the Eagles and Blues have been in the last 2 weeks.

Essendon were on 13-0 in 2000 when travelling to Sydney on a very wet Sunday afternoon in June (and the Swans were just going at this stage and would eventually miss the finals) and the Swans led by 2 goals at three quarter time and it looked like a major upset but class just rose to the top in the final quarter and we just scraped over the line.

You can't tip against St Kilda at the moment... but it will be an interesting Sunday afternoon in Sydney for them, especially if the rain moves in.

although Sydney's toy ground will give the Swan's a greater chance of being competitive.
Yes the Toy ground always does and thats why the Swans are always pretenders.
Until they lengthen it they will never win a premeirship.

Since when did history have anything to do with the outcome of a saints match?
Apart from us breaking records, history is irrelevant.

:D

If anyone knows our history they'd know that we rarely win anywhere.

I'm not sure why the smaller confines of the SCG will be a struggle because everyone is saying that the wide open spaces of the MCG will be too hard for us to cope. I would have thought that Telstra Dome was a smaller ground anyway. Obviously the length of the SCG is much smaller but we've adapted to AAMI Stadium and Subiaco so I think playing on different grounds is just an overrated excuse.

I might be a bit old fashioned but if Sydney beat us it will be because they beat us to the ball and use it better.

Hopefully Hall will be available, it will be much more satisfying if we can beat them with him in the team.

The Saints will look back on 2004 and rejoyce at a wizard cup, and a lost early round final. Big rewards if you look back at your sorry history. They will look back and see where it all unravelled: Round 11. SCG. v Sydney.

GrayHam = DeLuded!

ha ha ha. Saints fans are funny. Do you seriously beleive you can go from, what was it 10th?, to premier in one year ??
Most of the finalist from last year are also in the 8, and it looks like the pies and crows are building up a bit of a run too.
Experience counts.

You may win a flag in the future, and so may a lot of teams, but until you do I wouldnt be counting my chickens just yet.

:D

How ironic a couple of swans "fans" from the sunshine coast and Shepparton talking about the big smoke. :rolleyes:

Getting desperate grayham? Talking up Collingwood. Is that supposed to put the fear of god in us? LOL

Sydney = next victim

Heading to Adeliade to play port for 4th spot* the week after.

Note * Not necessarily getting to outright 4th until a few rounds later, but 4th is up for grabs between about 5 teams at the moment.
