I watched him closely in the big ANZAC Eve game this year. He rose to the occasion. Sure, he only had four touches, but those four touches were all quality. The statisticians said three of the touches were clangers, but I disagree and prefer my eye test over what the paid statisticians think.

One touch was as a forward, another a back, one as a wing and one as a ruck, so it demonstrated that versatility. When you also put on top of those four disposals that he racked up two hit outs, it does paint quite the picture of just the type of rarity of skill set Balta possesses.

Champion data defines elite as being in the top 10% of your position

So as far as the time he spends in that position, he needs to be in the top 10% of the KPF forwards in the league to be considered elite

Is currently equal 4th in the league in goals , so fair to say he holds that title ATM, 3rd as far as KPF kicking goals.

This is assuming he has spent the whole time at FF which isnt true of course as he spent half the game in round 1 playing in the backline

So is probably rated higher than 3rd in the league as a KPF measured by minutes played as KPF
