Look, I think that is unfair on the player, to be honest...sometimes people recover quicker than others

How about...

If a subbed out player is picked the week after, the senior coach gets kicked in the balls by a supporter of the team they played against (raffled off at $5 a ticket pre game...no sub, no kick, no play next week, no kick and all money raised goes to charity).

At the end of the day, as you saw the senior coach bent over and vomiting, you'd think "fair enough".
Imagine if Port offered that raffle to their own supporters for a chance to kick Hinkley in the balls - the Chasing Greatness coffers would be overflowing within a day or two.

No anyone with commonsense knows the answer.

Murphy's track record in front of goal speaks for itself.
I seem to recall him hitting a great set shot from the boundary to seal a game a couple of years ago. Had to move a security guard chair to do it.

That's where I want them. As funny as it would be, a bottom 4 finish for Port would be a catalyst for change. I'd prefer mid-table, good enough to trick themselves into thinking they're still a contender, and they'll also get a mediocre draft pick.
Which they’d trade up to be ahead of us anyway.

Is it bad that I'm so gleefully anticipating the demise of Port this season? It is giving me such enjoyment to see them fall away.

Does that make me a bad person that I'm enjoying someone else's disappointment?

If you’re over a certain age and grew up on SANFL you won’t ever forget just how ****ing smug and arrogant they were.

So no, it doesn’t make you a bad person. Makes you a normal person.

Holy crap.

I had completely forgotten about China and Port.

They at least broke even right?

I think we probably made more money from their China experiment than they did.

Seems we let them do the work and then sign China Southern to that sponsorship at the same time.

No massive China expenses to make that happen.

I kinda see this as laughing when you see someone hit in the balls, and not laughing that your rival has broken a leg and now you get to take their place.

What's everyone's take on this?

Absolutely not, the arrogance dripping from them when they hadn't actually achieved anything, they deserve all the crap coming their way. Notice all the talk of being the number 1 club in SA has disappeared as well? Reality bites.

I want it to be a slow bleed:

  • we smack them in R23 and they miss the finals on percentage
  • Boak retires
  • Gray retires
  • Dixon retires
  • Georgiades asks for a trade to WA
  • Motlop announces he’s going on
  • Powell-Pepper plays up on End of Season trip
  • Montgomery and Bassett quit, citing they can no longer work for Ken
  • Koch backs Ken unreservedly
  • Their reserves take out the SANFL wooden spoon

Rowie is trolling the Port fans after Ken big time, its hilarious. The callers backing Hinkley are equally as funny "Pipped at the post by the Hawks", they were smashed by 10 friggin goals!!!

You could not even have a decent conversation with them, impossible, the most one eyed supporters, intolerable could rave on for an eternity about them

It's probably crueler for Port to retain Bassett as a forward coach. Lad is becoming another Ben Hart.
