Wow, Geelong have an easy run this year.

North x2
Saints x2
Eagles x2
Port x2
Us at home
Freo at home

Only play Melbourne once (at home), and don't play Brisbane at the Gabba.

There's no way they don't finish top 4 from here, heck, they'll probably end up in the top 2. Hopefully they'll crash in the finals yet again.
As with Port each year, can always count on Geelong failing when it matters most.

I can't quite put together how Geelong can compile all these stars from other teams and still stay below the salary cap

Danger. Smith. Cameron. Dahlhaus. Caddy. Anyone else of note?

That's some big coin already though. Definitely brown paper bags happening.

Then you look at a team like Collingwood. Ridiculous deal for Grundy. Same now for Moore. And both Pendelbruy and De Goey would be an massive salaries. How does this reconcile with the salary cap?

Salaries should be public. Would immediately stop any issues and allow scrutiny from fans and other teams.

Anyone think Fagan has completely slipped under the radar in terms of criticism?

Out in straight sets in 19 and 21, home prelim loss in 20.

Two x top two finishes and a top four finish and hasn’t even cracked it for a GF.

If that was the coach of an SA or WA team, he’d be under the microscope to within an inch of his life.

So why isn’t he?

Problem only because of where he’s brought them from.

I’m guessing it’s all in the side deals and AFL sanctioned extra payments

Would that help?
They’d still just not declare what they’re not declaring now 😆

Wouldn't eliminate the issues. But it would allow everyday fans to be able to identify where the shit****ery is. At least give the opportunity for it to be called out.

My guess is the umpire had warned them to stop which is legit. Its soft but if they were warned thats just dumb to keep going
The umpire should not be telling them anything. Just pay a free if it’s a free, otherwise shut up
