One thing I am finding interesting is the media are being sucked into Pro Hinkley propaganda by exclaiming Port are playing finals footy and suggesting on the back of it he is a great coach. But last time I checked, an 8w 5l so called run after their 0-5 start is not under any circumstances finals footy. Neither is the statistic in the last 5 years they have only won 4-5 games against top 4 sides. Hinkley's coaching is all about down hill skiing and bullying with little to anything to beat the best, and its been consistent for a decade. This is why Hinkley is not a good coach to achieve success with. He can create a good and exciting side but they can't beat the best and its always been the case.

Unfortunately Port have gone close to beating the top 3 sides of late, their form has been pretty good
Collingwood got lucky against 15th and 16th in the last fortnight. Port lost by two goals against 1st and 2nd in the last fortnight.
You'd argue Port is in better form.
I'll give you the Cats game, but they were 6 goals down against Melbourne with 5 to go. 3 late goals flattered them.

Nah...Port are playing on endeavour due to every game being a grandfinal. Thats not form. Otherwise the crows are in brilliant form.

Tim is a great football brain but he is purely the Port version of Rowie. Rowie already over does it with his pro Port opinions and his love for Ken. Tims appointment kind of smacks of an agenda to turn it into more Port centric.
But who cares really. I only listen for 20 minutes on my way home from work. Tim does a good job during rowies holidays.
