Koch was on AA again this morning whinging about the prison bars.

I know that opinions are divided here about who is wrong or right...

Hard to know without being a Port supporter but surely constantly putting the prison bars on a pedestal, going on about it all year every year, sort of permanently relegates their current jumper to an unwanted second best, something they can't really embrace and get behind?

I can't imagine constantly wishing we were wearing another jumper whenever we ran out.

Maybe some of those white away strips are as close as I can imagine haha

Their current re-coloulered state jumper replica is a good one, if I'm them, I'm forgetting about the prison bars for a period of time and really building a marketing push around pride in the current jumper or they'll forever be disappointed.

Hey, maybe wear their 2004 premiership jumper in their "heritage" showdowns and we can wear a design from the first showdown too.

I would like to see us acknowledge our history and annually each year wear the guernsey of each of the SANFL clubs that we were formed from. Would be nice to start with Woodville and Torrens over the first two years to acknowledge the sacrifice of their identities that were helped along by our creation (taking 40 players out of the competition). On each occasion have a pre-match where tribute is given to that club's history, motorcade of past champions and ex-crows that originated from that club, video tribute to the deceased club greats, etc.

Could get very interesting in the 10th year when it is Port Adelaide's turn :)

Port dont want to be the Magpies in the AFL. They have made that clear time and time and time again.
Unless Collingwood change their jumper and forfeit their brand, Port Power doesn't have rights to the white and black strip jersey in the AFL since the AFL was created from the VFL and not SANFL. The AFL pay all the clubs to play in their competition as franchises.

The answer to this jumper thing is quite simple.

Get the AFL, Collingwood, Port and Adelaide to sign off legally that they can wear the jumper at the Port Home Showdown and that is it. No more and it can’t be changed without the full agreement of all four parties.

Do this and we would see Port’s true intentions.
That's it, if people can't understand why the Pies keep saying no given Port's history I don't know what more to say.

Did anyone watch Footy Classified last night?

They asked Kane Cornes if he thought Ken should be coaching next year. His response was he needs more information, more data before he could form an opinion.

This is the club he follows more closely than any other (some would say he follows our club closer, but you know what I mean).

And is the first to throw stones at the 17 other clubs without all the facts.

But turned to jelly when he had to have an opinion at Port.

What a weak human.
Very very average.

Kochie throwing around threats of pulling out of SANFL, serve then with an invoice for monies owed,
jam your prison bars up the cash cows arse and throw them out
Kochie you are an embarrassment to the game of football

Interesting to hear Craig McRae say on SEN tonight that they do welcome to country before every meeting they have.
Seems like that’s a bit overboard correcting their past indiscretions.

Is it an Eddie McGuire voice-over...
