Not really, Charlie should have made the final 22. Also did this in a side without two dominant key forwards like Geelong.Stengle All-Australian.

Was he being sarcastic? You missed his point.
His point is Adelaide comically let a good player go for nothing. Was he being sarcastic?

He threw himself under the bus, if Geelong didn't have babysitter Eddie and the AA FF and CHF he wouldn't be close to AA fact is Cameron had a better season but the AFL love a good news story. So you don’t think it is a bad look for the AFC. They threw him under a bus.
The funny thing is that there were some posters in here saying he wouldn't get picked up by another club. I always knew he had talent and thats why the clubs treatment of him hurt the club more than anything. I think we could have got him back on the straight and narrow if they really wanted to help him. Anyway it's good to see him getting his life on track. So you don’t think it is a bad look for the AFC. They threw him under a bus.

He had no choice then, either clean up or never get back on an AFL list. As I said above, the Crows offered him a spot back on the active list, but Stengle wanted to be back with Betts. Read the MB thread if you want an unbiased view of the situation, no one but Crows fans blame the Crows or think they didn’t do enough. So why Eddie was in living in Victoria last year, Stengle was at the SANFL Eagles helping us win a back to back flag. Who was his babysitter then?
We threw him under the bus.
It’s rubbish, people should be able to give credit where it’s due.
who would have long term, or who would you rather have this year?Laird or Rozee, who would you rather in your team?
Unbiased opinion is Rozee.
He deserves his AA spot.
Laird is a good player, statistically better, and would compliment Rozee. But Rozee makes more impact

Dawson would have been in the AA team if played in the right position of wing and pinch hitting forward.I think if you look at the stats in isolation, Laird should have been AA.
However, as we have all noted on here previously, Laird doesn't have the hurt factor of the other mids. To be honest, as good a season as laird had (and it was excellent), I wouldn't hesitate to swap him for any of the other mids that were picked.
Ultimately, I'm ok with how the AA selectors went on that one.
However, Gawn was very ordinary this year. Well below his best. Not sure who should replace him, but he's a shell of his previous form.
I'd also have Dawson over Saad easily. I guess they have to reward Carlton for getting close to finals though.
the stats suggest Laird's hurt factor was on par or better than most of the other midsI think if you look at the stats in isolation, Laird should have been AA.

Poor old Andy Maher
Rozee was good but i don't think it was All-Australian worthy. And based on what ive seen, most neutrals agree with that.If Rozee was a Crow all would be lauding his selection.
It’s embarrassing when we can’t acknowledge decent players from other teams
A bus he was driving. No regrets from me.So you don’t think it is a bad look for the AFC. They threw him under a bus.

The club didn’t sack him after the DUI. They also put more support mechanisms in place as they realised this was missing since Betts left. He still then decides it’s a good idea to be in a public nightspot with drugs in the same season the club backed him after a DUI.
Even then the club said we won’t sack you, but want you to go play for a SANFL club in 2021 and if you can show growth off field will have you on the active playing list again. Nominated for the mid season draft and had no interest. However, Geelong recruit Betts in an off field role and suddenly they are interested in Stengle, despite an offer by the Crows for Stengle to stay.
Is there any chance people on this board stop misrepresenting history? Even the Main Board thread on Stengle acknowledges the Crows made the right decision, Geelong were just the lucky club to benefit from it. If Betts is at Carlton then Stengle probably lights it up for them in 2022.
Esp if they have Santo Cilauro onThe Front Bar tonight is going to make for interesting viewing!
