Now take that scenario but the only way it gets done is that we demand a player. Which player is going to forego a finals campaign to come to us so his club can get in Doedee?

Why would you demand a player in a free agency signing/deal/trade?..

thats not how free agency, and the compo system for it, works..

What's 20 minutes of advert time of the AFL Grand Final worth .....surely the AFL could find an International Sponsor to put on a decent half time show

They don't ....however, to my knowledge, the cost of the performance is paid fully by sponsors ....i.e backup singers / dancers, choreography, cost of props & their manufacture / erection

The Performers just get massive exposure ....which boosts their future earnings capabilities

EDIT: Rhianna promoted her make-up range during the show & had all the dancers dressed in her fashion line clothing

What actually is the Port way? I’d like someone in the media once to actually ask that question.

I’m sure the answer would apply to nearly every club and Port wouldn’t be keeping to those attributes anyway, they’ve found out this isn’t the SANFL where they dominated for a period.

They could win it but will need alot of luck.

I think for any non Victorian team to win it you need to be top 4. It's hard to keep winning games on the road in finals. You can win one or two but a third in a row is too much.

I think that is their main issue. Once they are in the top four anything is possible.

Like alot of teams in the end it will all come down to how they start. Drop a few early games and any belief and momentum will fall away.

They fell into a trap last year of thinking too much about the finals. It takes alot of effort and luck to get to that point.
