Which was a take out of Paul Couch earlier in the year , Blight called for someone and Yeates put his hand up , all in Blights book.

I recall hearing on TV or the radio years ago that Yeates went even harder at Dermy once he was on the ground? The footage stops not long after the bump so you don't see immediately after what happens .....
I could be 100% wrong however...
That recovery & goal was the aspect I was calling magnificent ......never heard anyone say the bump on Dermie was magnificent ......it was a pick-off, pure and simple .....what John Wynne would do
Dermie is pretty pragmatic about it. He said he was on his way in to take out one of the cats mids. When asked which one, he said couch or bairstow, it didn’t matter as long as he got one of them.
Dermie is on record as saying exactly this.

The League told clubs ahead of the NAB AFL Draft on Monday that its recommendation to the AFL Commission ahead of their December meeting would be to allow four players on the interchange bench as well as one substitution for tactical reasons that can be used for any purpose at any stage of the game.

Noble also handpicked the most inexperienced set of assistants in the league. It is bizarre when you think about it but highlights the lack of oversight at our club, should have had a chief of the football department that didn't allow that to eventuate but he too was inexperienced at that role. Not suggesting all our problems are over, but at least we have experienced people in a variety of roles. It wasn't a funding issue, we have been paying the football department soft cap since it came in.
