Gotta say this is pretty unimpressive by JHF .....he looks so disinterested .....at the end, is he about to check his phone ?

Senior players on track: Lycett, Aliir, Hayes, Fantasia, Rioli, Burton, Farrell, McKenzie.

That is a pretty uninspiring list. I guess they all had holidays booked back in March for the next few weeks.

Reading way too much into a 5 sec clip, you don’t know if that’s at the end of a 1 hour workout or 5 mins

Was thinking the exact same thing. Could have been working his guts out all training, and this was a cool down.

Will be hard to tell whether he has changed his attitude until Round 1.

JHF's lack of any technique ....and lack of looking the slightest bit exhausted, says he needs supervision

Will be even more interesting just how much of an issue JHF leg injuries are?
Could be a factor if he is not professional in his rehab.

Rankine appears to have the better attitude to get the most out of his talent.

Early days though.

Sadly this magnificent event in the 1989 Grand Final would not occur now ......Brereton would have been concussioned out by Doctors ...the same Doctors who passed him fit to continue in 1989

So has medicine changed ....were doctors closing their eyes to concussion, due to team bias .....no doubt yes

The lingering dangers of concussion probably wasn't appreciated back then (so medicine has changed).

I didn't even realise Paul Roos was at the Kangaroos.

Noble can't be that smart if he didn't want the continued assistance of a proven coach of a young squad...

FMD if that is true he has no place in football, Roo’s is one of the most respected people in football………… Noble got what he deserved

Says a lot about Noble .....thought he was a lot better than he was ....and he had too high an opinion of himself

Knocks back assistance from Paul Roos

Knocked back the Clubs offer of a senior assistant Coach

Clarkson comes in & surrounds himself with well credentialed people ......the 10 times better Coach seeks assistance ....the rookie coach says he needs no assistance

It's not a 1 man job to coach... but a team effort, so you want as much quality as possible.

Crazy given Roos has twice handed over & supported a succession plan... so it's not like he would have white anted Noble.

When asked if he would continue at North Melbourne next year, Roos' answer was no surprise.

"No, and I think it's best for both parties to be honest."

"I've learned a lot, it's just reaffirmed my views on leadership and culture and all the things that I know, and things that if you don't get right, you're going to be a really bad footy team and that's what I've learned at North Melbourne."

Was that his parting quote?

Wow. I mean no surprise that the leadership behind North are a joke but wow. Roos' always striked me as a straight shooter, real even keeled, doesn't chase headlines etc. It's no surprise it's coming to light all these underperforming teams have terrible leadership/management etc.
