I've asked this every time I see it. It was ridiculous. Clearly it should have been a 50m penalty if he missed. I wonder what would have happened if he did miss.

You were allowed to put as many players on the mark as you wanted back then though..

As long as none of them went over the mark..

The rule that only one player can stand the mark only changed a couple of years back when the “stand” rule came in..

I though you had to be a certain distance away from the mark. These thousand guys behind the mark were much closer than I remember being allowable.

Kochie pretty much confirmed this morning Kenny is getting an extension.


Pretty obvious when they said the decision would be made in August all he had to do was make Finals.





Kenny will ride that club till he is in his 60s and wants to retire. Load up with a good assistant the years he needs to make Finals to extend his job, take the other year's off.

I had a laugh this morning on the drive to work listening to Kochie basically announce Kens new contract. All I could think about was all the Port fans on bigfooty. Thousand of posts venting for nothing. What a waste of time and energy.

It would be helpful for sure, but won't decide if we make finals or not.
On the other hand, a loss would pretty much ensure Port play the first final away.
That is enough for me to hope GWS flog them.
