We have a relatively new board though (in comparison) with a major turnover in recent years. And they have been overseeing a rebuild on and off the field. I think you'd have to give them the benefit of the doubt for now...

Well so far they certainly are better than the previous board's later years in my eyes

Koch was also called out for lying and trying to cover things up this morning by Penbo and Will (mainly Penbo)

He initially denied there was a 5AA ban in place, but when pushed about it he then clarified that he meant that there hasn't been a ban in place after Saturday. Penbo then said that he knows for a fact that there was a ban in place before Saturday and also knows that Port have been scrambling behind the scenes this week trying to mend bridges with 5AA.

Koch then tried to justify it by saying that the club was initially angry at Rowie's comments, Penbo then threw it straight back to Koch and asked him if the club was so offended at that comment then why has the Port Adelaide Footy Club been getting players to make comments in press conferences leading up to Showdowns claiming that they hate the Crows and think the Crows are self entitled club and jealous of Port etc. The negative comments from the players has always sounded fake and forced and said that it's his belief that Port are instructing the player to go out and make those comments.

Penbo then said it gives the impression that the club loves to dish it out, but is not able to take it.

Koch then fumbled around and couldn't give a straight answer.
