It makes their September tears delicious they get a false perception of what their H&A really was like.
In many ways its like some of the wins we had last year which made some believe we would make the 8 in 2024.

Won't they miss our game as well? Not that it matters because we played a depleted midfield last night and still got rolled.
Didn't really get rolled in the midfield though - we won clearances, centre clearances, inside 50s, disposals etc... pretty much every stat. We got dominated by Geelong's defensive setup, so missing a couple of great defenders might make a difference.
Obviously still have to deal with Melbourne's midfield though which is quite a bit better than what Geelong had yesterday.
