Imagine the scenes if West Coast snare Clarkson

I've heard rumours that Yeo will be on the trade table btw. Would be high risk with his run of injuries - but would fit in nicely at a team with a decent midfield.
His head seems to be elsewhere at the moment. I agree with Kane and to be fair OP kills your ability to run or have any confidence in your body. He comes off angry, seems to be yelling at teammates and no surprise just looking from the outside that something isn’t quite right there. His athleticism and speed shot by injuries. The injuries as mentioned earlier killing any endurance. Not sure there would be any takers and if there are they would not be willing to pay much more than a late second / early third.

Bastyy you're a big Elliot Yeo fan. What's he worth?

Nelson is rubbish - aged around 26/27 and will be delisted. Not sure why they persist with him. I’m happy to step in as list manager and make that call. I think it was ole mate Karl Langdon before the season started that said he is 26 and not part of the future. Seven rounds in they are still trying to work out his crapness.

Also they went hard with picking up all these WAFL/delisted AFL players. I can’t understand why you bother. Strnadica, Dixon and Joyce. They have shown for mine why they were delisted. They could have been selected as top up players. Prob bit unfair on Joyce given he has been injured but even in the pre-season I though he just looked like a decent WAFL player. Decimated East Fremantle in the process.

Clark and Naish look like being worth persisting with but just too many average players who aren’t going to improve.

The fact that they couldn’t get Kelly after his first AFL season and threw the farm at Geelong showed their hand. They lost all their decent picks. He after all only just completed his second season of AFL.

As far as players worth trading for, from Freo’s perspective a fit Oscar Allen would be handy, especially if Lobb leaves. Other than that I’m scratching my head. Other clubs may have interest in McGovern who has been good and Liam Duggan. They are in for a world of pain. Personally I think they are lock for pick 1 or 2, which will mean and should hold and not trade the early pick. They will have a crack at Tim English but he must be thinking do I want to come home and play with that basket case.
I seriously think North Melbourne will finish higher.

Would you turn down Yeo + Pick 19 for Pick 17? 🤔
Not suitable for us. Turns 29 in Oct and clearly on the decline.

Angus Brayshaw as a free agent is a better fit. An absolute team player, works hard (setting up team mates, careful with the ball and always shepherding doing the team things). He is 3 years younger. Yes he has had some concussion issues but has been playing consistently since 2018 (22,22,14,25 and every game this year).

So have we now established that the only bin chicken we'd want at this club is Oscar Allen? How the turn tables...

I considered suggesting Billy Rioli, but I know exactly what the response here would be!

Can you imagine him doing the Xmas runs with the team? 😝😝

I was a Liam Ryan fan before this season. But he seems to have given up this year. He is definitely a cherry on top kind of player. But with nothing underneath him, he is just a tiny plum.

Not a great time for Nelson and Shuey to be free agents who want to sign that last big deal with West Coast if the club decides it wants to get value where it can.

Nelson lol? Take the compo pick and move on. Not that I expect anyone to pay enough for a compo pick.

Worst player in the league playing regular AFL footy.

I’d take Willie and Tim too

Without the baggage Willy would have held the most currency out of every player on that list bar Allen. He is easily the best Rioli in the AFL.

It's ok for Kennedy, if in the unfortunate circumstances of Graham leaving us for a senior coaching gig, we'll have a forward line coaching spot nice and warm for him, he'll enjoy the feeling of being on a winning team again.
