Langdon was the same. Then was coached for better kicking and it changed him.Eh, he literally does no damage. At one stage he was 12d for 95m gained. He's an ok player who's handy, has the occasional really good game, but mostly a stat whore
For this year, or this group?I need to get my IT band massaged tomorrow like I'm being tortured for world saving secrets and I'll still be laughing enjoying a Carlton loss.
There's still time, but I don't feel it for them. I think they've lost the spirit.
Tough question because we wouldn’t have JOM, but he looked a lot better for us and we used him properly. Carlton are making Walsh look inept as well.Serious question : does cerra get a game in our current line up ? He’s not quick enough for the wing. Maybe playing on the half back flank ?
Cripps.Taylor's take: Carlton are missing a medium tall to offer a marking target away from the obvious two targets. They are too predictable. They need a mark 70m out from goal and they will look much, much better. Play Acres as that tall marking target forward, bring in another winger.
Chicken or the egg question because we wouldn’t have JOM, he looked a lot better for us and we used him properly. Carlton are making Walsh look inept as well.
Would rather Cerra than JOM IMO and he’d round as out nicely as was the original plan
He is Fyfe level for kicking at goalCripps.
Guy is struggling in the middle. He’s a gun mark and can use his body and pace leading to the ball.
I feel like their board coaches their team.Carlton have made footy look hard for decades. Not sure you can blame Voss entirely for this. Not his fault that a Coleman medallist now looks like an alien trying to learn to play the game

Honestly think Cerra was happy and content being in the Fremantle midfield. Real brotherhood between Brayshaw, Darcy and now Serong.Tough question because we wouldn’t have JOM, but he looked a lot better for us and we used him properly. Carlton are making Walsh look inept as well.

Not necessarily, Langdon has no doubt improved at Melbourne, but he was always under appreciated around here. Back to back top 4 b&f's from memory with us.Langdon was the same. Then was coached for better kicking and it changed him.
Carlton has nothing like that
A lot of these intercept defenders are lightweight guys who float around picking off kicks and for some reason nobody puts a knee in their back and gets a bit of body contact on them. Treacy on the other hand loves doing both.I think we're seeing Treacy's value by watching other teams struggle vs Blakey/Stewart/(I hope Lever).
He doesn't get a stat for it, but he's been a gun at shutting them down sonfar and making them accountable.

He was always leaving based on that Stan documentary. So it was a fake brotherhood.Honestly think Cerra was happy and content being in the Fremantle midfield. Real brotherhood between Brayshaw, Darcy and now Serong.
Feels like he was forced or wanted to move due to his GF/family.
He loves smashing those guys. Larkey, and then Stewart. He doesn’t hold back. Can guarantee he ll go after LeverA lot of these intercept defenders are lightweight guys who float around picking off kicks and for some reason nobody puts a knee in their back and gets a bit of body contact on them. He does alright when he doesn't kick it. But **** his kicking is atrocious at the moment.Acres has been alright, trying to give them run. Carlton are useless off half back
I agree with someone else (might have been you even) who said he’d have stayed if not for COVID. Even Serong says it made him think twice about where to play.Honestly think Cerra was happy and content being in the Fremantle midfield. Real brotherhood between Brayshaw, Darcy and now Serong.

Nah that's pretty much how I remember him playing for us as well.Cerra isn’t becoming the player he projected to be. Getting bigger stats this year but he isn’t impacting much. I remember his best early years form was brilliant spearing skills inside 50 and class, I’m seeing a lot of dinky sideways handballs this year. That 1-2 with Docherty after giving it to him flat footed in traffic was symbolic.
No current season stats available
Which sucks, because if they keep sacking coaches, they'll get a good one eventually.
