You clearly haven't absorbed anything I said. Once again, pies are great, they're having a bad game, I'm talking about the overreacting both ways re. them and Freo.
Can’t see where I’m overreacting. Not interested in trying to speak for other posters. I actually like the footy Collingwood play, as well as the way they‘re coached.

To be fair we have seen freo 3 times now this year and I can’t say I’ve been overly impressed with any game so far.
Yes it’s early days but several players seem to have stagnated or even gone slightly backwards this year in the first 3 matches. Some promising signs from a few guys like Amiss and Serong last Sunday but it’s not enough and several need to lift.
The only player so far definitely playing the best football of his career in 2023 is Sam Switkowski.
I’m happy to wait till round 5 or 6, but to be in a place we’re you could say the coach is going well, we should have 8 or 9 players having career best seasons.

Nick Daicos is so unique to watch. The guy is untackleable not because he's strong but because he will dispose of the ball before getting tackled basically every time. Most of the time it's a very well weighted possession to advantage as well. It's both really weird and amazing to watch

Mate lol, I'm not talking about you, I'm saying the whole board in general has had this let's shit on our own team feeling thing going ever since we lost to the Saints. Look at the comments at the start of this match ITT!

I was happy with three quarters of the Derby. Most importantly we saw critical cogs improve, Darcy and Jackson both took contested marks and kicked goals, and our style switched to handball forward.

Sample size is still too small to make good judgements. Next two games will reveal a lot, will we continue to play better or will it be more of the same?

Has an immaculate sense of timing of the game. An anti-Henry (at the moment, I'm still hoping he can learn it).

Nick Daicos’ third quarter up there with Bailey Banfield’s second best game

Bt making it sound like a 1 goal game and pies have come back from 50 down.
Been goal for goal mostly last few minutes

I have a sinking feeling that Neil Erasmus is a Deven Robertson type… I really hope I’m wrong but I guess time will tell.
