Some on the Eagles board delighting in their team losing so Freo misses finals. No pride left and we live so rent free in their heads that they want their team to lose. That's not the majority of them though - most seem quite upset at their return to 2022/23 Eagles. I don't care either way. This mess is of our own doing.

At least if GWS win next week they will be second and give us something to play for against port.

They need us to then beat port to secure a home qualifying final. It’s a big prize for them if they beat the dogs at Ballarat.

Clutching at straws I know but it’s all we have left.

Still a far likelier outcome than Saints beating Carlton, although I imagine Ross really wants to finish the season on a high - his job would surely be on the line. He'll throw everything at it which is more than what Wet Toast brought today.

Crazy thing is we could potentially know if the season is worth playing for around 5-10 mins before our game actually starts...

Carlton vs Saints game should theoretically finish around 4pm and our match starts at 4.10pm.

Good things for the club is that the crowd would mostly have committed to attending by that stage so will still likely pull good numbers.

The fact that all the games are on the Sunday too. So we have to wait till the very last moment to see if we have anything to play for.

Honestly though why should we attend? Just sends the message to the club that we accept the recent results

Who’s had the worse game? Cox yesterday or Darling today?

I seriously didn’t think anyone could top Cox’s defensive disasterclass but Darling has been a special kind of shit. He’s had more clangers (5) than disposals (4) and goals (0) combined.

I would say he needs to retire but it’d be funny to see him stink it up for the Weags for another couple of years

I mean it’s Sunday at 4pm, already people would be put off by that. The season will be over before the game starts. They should be preparing to play in front of no one.
