I see Dean Cox has had to rule himself out of the WC job again. Is that 3 or 4 times now?

It’s pretty funny a lot of the time
Some great history with some of the guests but others are fairly meh

They hang shit on Carlton a lot which pleases me
I stopped watching it when I realised there are pretty much three jokes that keep getting recycled. Andy's old, Mick's a drunk and Sam's Asian.

Luke Jackson should be this player, he has all the attributes to be the first real big man to play 50/50 forward/mid (Pav was this for 1 season but his body type meant it wasn't sustainable). We really need to unleash his full potential next year and not play him exclusively as a forward/ruck.
i actually think i disagree. treacy is the one. has more goal nous and impact factor. jackson is a unicorn but treacy is the fire breathing dragon who will win you the iron throne.

this is all speculation. but if the next evolution of football is giving a center-half forward dustin martin attributes. like the big men in the nba. they wouldn't morph into steph curry. i suspect it would still be closer to the traditional centre-half forward than the 2017 version of dustin martin.

thus jackson perhaps isn't the model. i still think franklin would be closer.

Had Harley Reid on blowing smoke up his ass
Then they wheel out Nic Nat who blew further smoke up Harleys backside.

Then just when you thought it couldn’t possibly get anymore cringy out comes Cuzzy and practically gets down on his knees

Supposed to be a GF special and turns into a WC wankfest
Was surreal !

Glad I switched off as soon as HR showed his smug face.

Can't see HR sticking around the Eagles.
Let them blow smoke.
He is blowing just as smoke up the Eagles.
It's all going to end terribly 🤣

If I was coaching against the Eagles next season I’d send a pure tagger to Reid with instructions to do a Crowley. Get in his face all day. He’s already shown a poor temperament when frustrated.

Not sure I follow at all. The best bigs in the NBA now are expected to be able to bring the ball up the court, pass like point guards and shoot the three ball at a decent clip. How is the old school CHF the evolution of football?

The way I look at it, old school CHFs were smaller than the current mids. Dunstall was 188cm which is smaller than Hayden Young. Jackson seems to be the perfect evolution of player in that he's the size of a ruckman but can move like a mid. Anyway, whatever happens I hope we utilise Jacksons freakish abilities a bit more than just making him a standard Forward/Ruck.

Actually think this works just as much in our favour regarding chad
Get pumped here and likely tank it next year surely he’s says enough enough
Got more chance of winning the GF with us than at the Swans… if he wants runner up medals then he’ll stay…

Was Logan McDonald subbed out with a recurrence of the injury he was subbed out of the last game with after Mills wasn't picked because of a fear of bringing an injured player into the game?

Yes.

Swans picking injured players for the GF again biting them on the arse.

Well it's over for another year. I was expecting GWS to win at the start of the year; they got close, a bit like we got close to making the finals but didn't.

It was probably the tightest competition in my memory; almost 13 teams were still in it with three rounds to go. 8 games in I thought the Lions wouldn't make the finals, but then they had a good run and ended up winning it - Lohmann and Ashcroft made a big different at the point end of their season. Melbourne, Collingwood were considered montys to play the finals and neither made it. Carlton and the Bulldogs did make the finals only just and then bowed out.
