Great win by the Tigers who are clearly much better than the bottom 3 (WC especially).

Not sure it's good for them long term. Last thing they need is to think they should reload for an another tilt. Premiership players did most of the heavy lifting even if some kids did some good stuff.
Hard Ball Gets guys are saying it best, just stop trying to win, it’s only going to go bad. There is no one under 25 on Richmond’s list that can form a contending core (maybe Gibcus but too injured). They have too many good to decent players over 26 though so will continue to win more than they should and it’s going to absolutely kill them down the road

Yep, they'll be middle 6 for 5 years before falling off the cliff if they don't prioritise youth really soon.

Not sure of draft values, but finding a way to land Curtin would have made sense. They may have been able to trade down again. They need to prioritise local at the top end for now wherever possible.

don’t think targeting local is a necessity really, just got to target good characters at this stage. guys like andy, serong, young really drive the standards of a club regardless of where their from

Bah, winning is never bad. Club culture matters more than getting pick 3 instead of pick 7 in a draft
Depends with what they do or want, they can stay around the bottom part of the 8 for a few years but they won’t be able to compete with clubs stocking bulk quality upping talent unless they draft out there arse.

I have said that about Geelong multiple times though so we’ll see.

Surely that never happens though?

I think the Cats 2022 flag will become legendary for its rarity.
I still can not believe GWS had to give some half decent 2nds back for arguably the best player in the game at 27. Just lunacy

Ex-player. Tougher in ways we couldn’t imagine. Perfect really.

The Norths players used to call Laidley “The Bible” - difficult to read apparently.

Today's game Ryley Sanders (pick #6) was better than Harley Reid.

On Eagles next coach, I reckon it'll be Dean Cox.
I’d say that’s who’d they want but I get the feeling Sydney have him lined up to take over from Longmire .

If that’s the case (guess he’d need some sort of guarantee on that tho) I doubt he takes the WC job just for the fact rebuild coaches rarely see them out and in terms of rebuild they don’t come much bigger than WCs
