Every top had issues this week.

Pies no forward line key backs looked bad with fast ball coming in.
Port key forward on one leg no decent ruck...no decent key back .
Bris mids over worked ,made Andews look bad .

Today might have been the last games for franklin and hawkins which would be sad on both counts.

He hasn't been good last 2 weeks but either has the i50s to him .

He's been great this year and is allowed a few off games, as you mentioned he needs the ball delivered to him properly, which isn't happening consistently.

Also he gets scagged a bit and gotten like 9 free kicks this year .

Any sporting event you're stuffed with reception on the phone and even if you get some it will be on delay. I bought a $5 mini pocket am/fm radio from Hong Kong from ebay and just use that at games. Old school for the win.

Agreed, Carlton have a brilliant list, and had multiple guns missing v Pies- Walsh, Cerra, Kennedy, Harry, Boyd, JSOS- and Pies had a full list. They love the G. Could easily have that sort of year. Before JSOS gets ridiculed, he has turned it on big time in recent weeks, and been pivotal in their climb to 5th spot.

Everything that's happened since three quarter time of the Richmond/Hawthorn game last week has been godawful for us. In the space of 11 results since then we've had:

• Richmond come back from 30+ points to steal the four points against the Hawks
• Carlton get a massive percentage boost against the Eagles
• We lose to Brisbane
• GWS beat Gold Coast
• St Kilda come from behind to beat North
• Carlton beat Collingwood
• GWS beat Bulldogs
• We choke with our season on the line against Freo
• Hawkins and Blicavs injured

Now add:

• Adelaide beating Port
• St Kilda beating Hawthorn

This Nth Melb vs WC game today might just be the worst game of all time.

2 diabolical teams, the worst of them has home ground advantage, and both teams have huge incentives to lose.

Understandably, he's been appearing grumpy lately onfield. Difficult time. Still lots of work to be done, and they know how hard and how much, yet they know at their best they are very good. Maybe this year is just too difficult.
