The Pies board want to trade everyone including all the coaches
Lucky Bailey kicked that goal after the siren to beat them by 1 point
If we lost that game it would have been hard looking back thinking how the hell did we lose to them

Hopefully we beat Collingwood by 20 goals later in the season

Port-Dees is huge. I won't believe Port can beat a team above them on the ladder until it actually happens, but having watched the Dees live yesterday I'm not very impressed.

If their midfield/clearance strength is neutralised, their excessive flooding back makes scoring hard unless they get a super clean break from D50. Gawn looks tired too.

My tip will be the Dees I think but I expect it to be close. Dees win is better for top 4 certainty but I want port to win and give us a better shot at top 2.

Nah, you look at promise with a list like that. Darcy has become borderline elite in the ruck. Brayshaw is a gun. Henry is showing potential to be an elite small forward. It sucks for them Cerra looks likely to go but I wouldn't really be too worried about their list profile aside injuries. I think finals would have been a great experience for them but even if they make it they'll get belted. Promise for the future though imo.

I agree, but it is a bit concerning that Mundy is their best player at his age. I think they are pretty well coached but have an absolute dearth of forward options. Henry has as you said shown a bit, Taberner is a slightly above average key forward and is older than you think. The back half and midfield have some building blocks, the forward line looks miles off a contenders imo. Treacy has been ok and is worth persisting with I guess?

I suspect they will finish 10th and that is probably about where they belong. With some natural improvement (and holding onto young players like Cerra) I think they should play finals in the next 2 seasons but am not convinced they will be a top 4 threat any time soon.

Not AFL related but how many brain dead people can you get in one team
12 players + 1 wife
Not sure even the Mighty Lions could win with 12 players sidelined which should be the minimum sanction Dragons players should receive
....

NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo has promised severe sanctions for Dragons star Paul Vaughan and a host of teammates who ‘have let the entire competition down', with a number of players fleeing on foot a house party which breached COVID laws.

Vaughan and 12 others have been handed $1000 fines by NSW Police for flouting the government's stay-at-home orders after attending a gathering at the forward's Shellharbour home on Saturday. The only one fined believed not to be a Dragons player is Vaughan's wife, Elle.

Feeling good about only having games against WC and Richmond of the top 9 left.
I hope the on paper soft draw and then a week off leading into finals doesn't hurt our flag chances... + if we win 1st week of finals we get another week off, we know Fagan doesn't like it although I'm sure/hoping our coaches have learnt some valuable lessons from last years same scenario and we'll be fine.

2 byes in the space of 3 weeks can be more detrimental than an advantage. I'm pretty sure that was the biggest influence in our prelim loss to the cats.

We’ll finish top two, will win both home finals and will be playing the big dance this year Jason.

With Cameron out for the cats they're significantly weaker. He adds another element to their forward line similar to what Joe & Mcstay provide for us up forward.

I said it a while back that Melbourne are not as good as their ladder position suggested. They lost to a below par Collingwood, they barely beat Essendon (who are not impressive) and they lost to GWS. Obviously they're a good side, but Bulldogs, lions and Geelong are better sides for me.

And then we will win in front of a packed MCG and then our Fages can be immortalised in the club's history forever and forever as the saviour of this football club. 😍 😍 😍
