There's not a "no sliding" rule. That's completely legal. What you're not allowed to do is make forceful contact below the knee, whether it's sliding or any other mechanism. Moore didn't do that.

If Kozi had played the ball there's a fair chance he gets a free kick from Moore if Darcy takes out his legs. However instead he chose to bump and got Moore high, and there was never any forceful contact below the knee.

And because of that rule, it is reasonable for Pickett to expect that Moore is going to keep his feet.

Not sure if you watched the Fox feed last night but the panel were all in agreement that Pickett shouldn’t be suspended and it was reasonable for Pickett to bump in that situation and not expect Moore to throw himself to the ground.

They're not just being outclassed by a better team, they're mentally already in Bali. Eagles put up the white flag before the opening bounce, the players just want the season over with and to be on holiday.
