Geelong looking good to half time.
It is a quick game and wonder if one team will tire.
Only 20 points in it which is a reasonable lead for an away team.
If Port can reduce that to 10 at 3/4-time things might change.

I always think Port are trash.But hey get the double chance then go out in straight sets. It's one of the certainties of life.The game plan just doesn't hold up under finals pressure

I'd love to have this Port Adelaide in a prelim if we were to win our next 2 and they can somehow come back from here and win. Seems unlikely now.

When Port were having a crack Geelong were still efficient with their ball use.

Been a training drill since halfway through the second quarter.

We finished 2nd in 2019 - pretty fair to think on reflection that draw had a fair bit to do with it and we were actually just the 5th/6th best team that year. Credit to them for doing it but it was very reasonable to doubt them going into tonight.

Aside from the gun mids and maybe 3 other players (bergman, aliir, georgiades) they are very underwhelming generally. And the gun mids tend to get beaten up a bit too often to be trusted.
