Would be a huge turn around. I believe that no premiers have ever lost by over 100 pts in the same season.

I always like to play middling sides who come in off a strong win but you'll do your head in trying to work out who we want to win this year. It's too close. In the final round we'll have a clearer idea who we want to do what.

How bad was the Pies ruckman in that throw in that led to the McGovern mark; it’s like he gave up. I also thought Pendlebury looked pretty cooked out there tonight particularly late in the game. Can’t believe he’s going around again but I suspect Collingwood will have him go on again in 2026 just so he’ll break the games record.

Even if Hawks lose tomorrow they could still beat Carlton and knock them out of the eight with a decent win. Who’d have thought the Blues could miss the eight, even better if the Pies also don’t make it; no doubt the AFL would be devastated with 5 non Victorian teams making it.

He had a slow start after he returned in 2021 from that succession of knee issues (one goal from 5 games). Goalless in R1 2022. That was his first goalless game since that day.
