Sadly I'd be surprised if he pies missed the 8 next year.
Pies success in ‘25 seems to hinge on Pendles,Ironarse,Howe and Cox maintaining contributions which might be in doubt

Reading the Eagles board and if we think our whipping boys cop it, Matt Owies and to a lesser extent Liam Baker have massive whipping boy targets on their backs and they haven’t even walked into their club particularly Owies who is a lesser light.

Saw highlights of Bo Allan a Peel player on Trading Day; looks a nice mover and I hope for the Eagles sake they can land him.

Based off these valuations of pretty average players this trade period I honestly wonder if Tom Cutler could actually be worth 2 first rounders in the 2024 market.

I guess you can bookmark Dan Houston getting his third AA by pure virtue of being a Collingwood player in 25. If getting one in 24 was easy despite missing a bunch of games and being nowhere near as effective as 23, imagine how easy it will be at Collingwood with 90% of the selection committee in Melbourne.

Let’s be honest, Starcevich doesn’t have a hope in hell irrespective of how good he’s been.

If Harris Andrews was at a big Melbourne club he would be a 4 time All Australian by now... at least.

I don't get the price some of these clubs are paying Richmond for their players.

WCE, Freo and Suns are just massively overpaying for all.

I think both Rioli and Bolton have like 3 years to go on their contracts which would likely be a strong bargaining chip

Under contract but everyone knows Richmond definitely want them out to get picks in so it’s a bit different but it hasn’t affected them getting a big return

If I wanted a truly private mad monday/wacky wednesday celebration, I'd probably have it at someone's house instead of some random place in the CBD.
I have been around and worked at venues that have hosted Mad Mondays in the past. In my experience its handled pretty well. Rooms well cut off from any potential public (including plastic sheets on any potential window). Staff were always very specifically chosen (usually managers or owners with a heap of experience and almost always male) for both their capability but also discretion

Generally its messy as they are young fit athletes but who havent been able to drink for months. They get super drunk and throw up a lot but also just keep going and going all night. They get up to some pretty outrageous stuff but also keep it very in house. From what I've heard they have always been amazing with the venue staff.

I know things have happened in the past (ahem St Kilda) and some pretty bad incidents have happened after players have gone off on their own after the "official" event.

In the end it means either someone really screwed up hosting the event with the wrong people (ie its possibly overblown) or something really really bad happened.
