A mixed bag for Jack here. He showed his running power to get around the ground and present as a roaming marking target for his teammates, but struggled all game to mark the footy, dropping a lot that he got his hands to and double grabbing the ones he did take. He did manage to stay involved and dangerous when the footy hit the ground though, even snapping a lovely running goal in the last quarter as Murray surged ahead on the scoreboard.

It's been non stop: "You NEED to do a Jack Ough video", "When are we getting your Jack Ough video", "Stop stealing my parking spot Jack Ough". So here it is, and if it gets my channel banned I'm blaming you all.

Any chance of some Rhys Unwin highlights at some point especially now he's getting some midfield exposure after missing a big chunk of the season with injury?
I had a look while I was doing Jack Ough, I really like him. A little undersized but moves with power and has some tricks.

I'd rather wait though and use a game where the source broadcast isn't as messed up as the one from last weekend (we lost about 20 mins of game footage altogether). Lets see how he plays this weekend.

Yeah he's a ripper, obviously more a small forward at AFL level but he ticks all my boxes....The fact he's looked pretty competitive in the midfiels is just another arrow in his quiver. :) 🎯

Think Jack could very well be a 1st round bolter with his size and scope to be developed into so many roles at clubland.

Finally someone agrees with me 😍

Davis the other one I had in similar boat and LemmingMaster took him top 20 in the PD

I liked him more playing wing at the champs than in this last Rebels game even though his stats were great. I didn't see the dynamism at stoppage that would make me feel like inside mid is a likely future role for him. I'll be keen to see how it develops over the rest of the season though. His tackling intent was impressive and his size is a factor.

Pretty decent off half back too and can't see any reason he couldn't go forward.

There's 3 WA boys seriously flying under the radar Hamish Davis, Luke Urquhart and Hugh Boxhall all decent sized units as well.

Hamish Davis - Forward/Midfielder 190cm 85kg - fast leading high marking forward that's also capable in the midfield, a genuine utility

Luke Urquhart - Balanced Midfielder (inside/outside) 190cm 76kg - Explosive midfielder with speed to burn, good overhead, kicking can be a bit hit and miss at times but Patty Dangerfield's is too.

Hugh Boxshall - Balanced midfielder (inside/outside) 187cm 80kg - smooth mover, good size, very composed in traffic, clearance specialist.

Berry's recent shift into the midfield has given draft watchers a lot to think about. He's not a prolific clearance winner at this stage, but his elite evasive skills allow him to navigate traffic from inside to out and convert stoppage wins by his team into damaging possessions. He still splits his time between midfield and his old forward role, and remains one of the most damaging players in this years pool inside the forward 50.

Any chance you could do Sam Marshall Championship package? 👍

That's a fair way off honestly. I make them by pulling clips from the videos I've made of players across the champs series, and I've only done one Marshall game so I would need to do the other three first.

Its not completely out of the question, but something to revisit when I have more free time, likely after the season is over.

Any footage of Jesse dattoli, seems to be in top 30 calculations now.

Not yet. I've had a few requests since Cal's post about him being the next Jimmy Bartel, but I'm not really on the same page as Cal with this one.

If he has a big Talent League performance or there's a big swell of demand for it I'll do one.

Hey Noobs just a question regarding your champs highlights. Are they actually highlights i.e the crap is trimmed out?
Most of my game videos include every interaction with the play, good or bad. Occasionally I do "best moments" videos like the ones I've been producing recently with the "Full Champs Highlights" title.

A day to remember for Jobe Shanahan as he made his VFL debut and managed to mark the occasion by slotting 4 goals to help his team get up for a win. His second goal was an outstanding solo effort with a contested mark, follow by a quick and decisive play on and long running shot from outside 50s to an empty goal square. His third and fourth goals showed his lead/mark craft as well as lovely set shot goal kicking from near the 50 meter arc.

Thanks Futbolista for the recommendation. He was great here... good example of what AFL level Malakai might look like.

This performance is an example of how basic stats can be misleading. Malakai was super impactful in his second WAFL outing, prowling the ground level of the Subiaco forward line and causing chaos, often to the advantage of his team. He kicked a couple of goals, and could have contributed more if the territory battle hadn't been so significantly in Swan Districts favour which starved him of opportunities.
