It's true though. There are posters for all occasions here. Inner Scrotal news breakers, junior footy talent watchers, AFL game plan and style deep thinkers, those who just nail what you're thinking but they post it so much more succinctly than I could have, the wittiest of witty freaks, the genuinely funny bastards and biatches, the barely legible and the grammar Nazis who swoop in close behind, the stats gurus, the extremely opinionated who I may or may not agree with but who I respect for their consistency and effort, the post loss dummy spitters, the trolls, the club can do no wrong types and the club can't do a thing right types, the political warriors come election time and the alias' posting to type etc etc., all brilliant in their own way.
Bloody politically correct mod. Cast your votes or we mutiny!!!

You did sum up the board rather nicely though.

Brett33 - if you didn't get those mega bans, you'd be in my votes
Horace
I got the Carlton ban overturned...albeit after my suspension. I'll be informing them now that the Gibbs comment has cost me the friendship and respect of Nate7. They can burn in hell now!!!

That's like the fact our Tibetan monk Teffy, in all of his guises over the years, has four times the number of posts to Tas, yet only a quarter of the words. It's like that.....that's just the way it is. One of the many quirks of BF.

I always find these threads difficult to answer with a 3, 2, 1, having to read every single post all year in full.

Everyone here contributes to the kaleidoscope of opinions that is the NM BF board in their own way, and all are appreciated.

Speaking of Teffy, I hope that he soon finds a way to rid himself of the shackles of that Tibetan monkhood and returns to "entertain" us all again.

Would love to see him cross swords with Tas on the "North might be done in Ballarat" thread. I very vividly remember arguing with him that we shouldn't be playing more games in Tasmania, in a particularly fiery thread not all that long ago. Funnily enough, if my memory serves me correctly, he was arguing that we needed to play more games in Tasmania to avoid us falling back into debt and becoming vulnerable again.

Thanks for that, Heritier Lumumba.

First off - you can all get ******.

Second - comfortably one of the more under rated on here, and consistent in his approach to training and match day prep is LuvtheKangas - he'd be my Johnny Blakey type.

Now RB, the problem is that we don't see enough of you these days. In your heyday you used to figure very very highly in POTY calculations.

Exactly the way I feel TT and said much more succinctly than I could have :). Even in the most heated battles (like the recent Tas v Horace slugfest), I still see merit in some points on both sides of the argument.

It's the best board because it has the best posters, TT once told me "I've met so many BF posters and it's rare the North crew turn out to be flogs" and I can honestly believe that.

Having said that....

3. B Tron was always going to be an excellent mod
2. giantroo can't believe he's not a full time media guy
1. Bigeasy 'cause he loves Tiny

Many, many others that I enjoy every day.

Also special mention to a few that I have conversed with via PM this year (you know who you are :thumbsu:).

ps. I miss the shooting star that was RoOGrrrl

and think often of The Chiefton and how things are going.

You being the author of the OP for the Thread of the Millenium (the Sympathy for * thread) I'm not at all surprised Spitz.
Neither. When the chapter is closed on the great saga spitz will have to be awarded an appropriate trophy...

As a poster that has only been actually posting on here for a short while, I like Twinkletoes ' summation . I so enjoy all that I read, the laughs I get, and the wisdom :) and agree with 'Toes re the spilling of liquid when seeing memes etc .. Also the horrible habit of remembering something when in inappropriate situations, and laughing out loud  SO , I thank you all and look forward to more .
And to quote ShinbonerBaz I also have had a few posters that exchanged pm's, and you know who you are. I thank you as well. :):thumbsu:

First year on BigFooty and only wish I had found it earlier.

POTY, tough, off the top of my head 3.Jay Z 2. TennisPA 1. Toes/BTron.
Most on here are damn good posters.

Also big shout out to Giantroo the media Guru and to those who honoured my many requests to post the Ben10/Varcoe Gif.
1400 posts in a year is a good effort, from 2012 to early 2014, l only had about 1200 posts. Its been that kind of year
