Scott’s inflexibility in games and at selection is actually getting worse and with less justification. Yes I’d be feeling differently if we’d won those games, but that did not happen, for reasons you ought to understand - so please, try not to insult my intelligence.

It's beyond a joke. It's neglect. And the Ziebell decision is a middle finger to us all.

Broadcasted that intention to make him go in the midfield from Scott, next game he does it when the game is on the line and LDU is gone after a strong start.

It was an absolute joke. Shows no faith in both the strongest members of our midfield, yet puts absolute faith in a player who was only in the midfield during a time when we had zero. We have the depth and the skill now, yet we aren't using it.

He's making Ziebell looks worse.

McDonald looked a lot better, the team let themselves down with a lack of composure and the leads and running patterns were out of sync in my eyes. Can't win if you struggle to score.

Sorry but I take issue with this, if you just bomb the ball in a Hail Mary fashion ignore leads and just hope you hit a target then what hope does the forward line have?
But this has been the same issue for 10 years now, no real plan on how to bring the ball into the forward line and kick to advantage.

Went along today with 2 Hawks mates and played it off as same old North blah blah blah but was f***ing dying inside. Now just sitting at home wondering why I bothered.

Where was the guts? Even if you aren’t playing well fire up and at least show us you care. It’s just been completely uninspiring footy all year. Honestly, we’re playing with the least amount of spirit I can remember in my time as a supporter. Just give us something.

Mate, I’m still numb from Rd1. Either I no longer give a shit, or I have a shitload of suppressed emotions that are going to manifest into something pretty ugly.

Sadly, I think it’s the former.

As many have previously stated, Brad has far too much faith in far too many players and for far too long! I respect his loyalty to his players but the time has come to show some courage and MAKE SOME CHANGES BRAD! I can cope with the mistakes/skill errors etc coming from youngsters but I can’t deal with it coming from seasoned players week-in week-out. Give us a break! And it must be so disheartening for the remaining players on our list knowing that there is very limited opportunity for them to break into this team because even when we under perform week-in week-out there’s never any changes. Talk about demotivating! Create some competition for spots Brad!!

Highlight of the game today was rescuing a seagull stuck behind the back seats of the Ponsford. Watching my first game of the year and watching
our Great Club do the same thing we have for yrs , throwing away another good early lead. It is very frustrating and disheartening and things need to change

We are ******* awful to watch. Got a good balance of skill and grunt and marking power on the list and we serve up this shit. Supporters are fed up, team is flat and bereft of confidence. I don't see this turning - we're heading for bottom four, and we looked the part today. As someone said above, Majak and Waite covered over some glaring problems last year. Coach needs to go.

After today I’d be happy with bottom 4.

First Quarter:
Short kicks in the back half until we found an opening.
And when the opening was found, we went fast and direct.
VERY good football.

Rest of the game:
Clarkson made sure to put the pressure on the backs and not let us chip it around as freely. Because of this we either.
A. Went longer down the line.
B. Tried to break the zone with handball.
C. Tried riskier kicks through the middle.

I dislike BS as a coach and I don't think he is the one who can lead us to the promised land.
But to say he doesnt have a plan B is just plain wrong.
The team tried different things. They didnt come off, but there were definitely changes in the way we moved the ball.

This pretty much nails it. Even if we give him benefit of the doubt and say Scott does have some sort of plan B, we all know Clarko has thought 3 steps ahead of potential North changes. You know it's coming too, he simply gets out-coached way too often (hence the constant capitulation style losses we've seen over his 200+ games as coach). He got so badly out-coached, the plan B didn't even look like it happened (if at all). Guys like Woosha, Clarko, Hinkley, Longmire, Lyon, Cameron etc. all have this air of calculation around them. We get AngriBoi Scott who mouth breathes in the box and stares in disbelief.

At least he gives us comic relief with his ludicrous facial expressions.

You can make what you like of Thursday, I'll always do what's best for the team"

It is one thing to back the players but this group collectively makes him look like a goose year after year because they can't consistently execute what he is asking them to do. If he starts taking pot shots at players, he loses the only real asset he has and that is that the players like him because he doesn't hold them to a higher standard. 2019 is effectively shot, our 150th year celebration is dead, there is going to be tumbleweed blowing down the stands next week, he isn't giving anything for supporters to rally around.
