what's the word about the league side. why isn't the comp going out of its way to make the guns play so we win this game, surely it looks good for the league and for the clubs recruiting next year to say its the stronger of the two. which players are in and are they worthy of spots in side? thanks :thumbsu:

it is reported that hayes from monty is also down there, with brayden shaw out with injury and few others pulled out due to injury or holidays. But apparently a strong side on the track yesterday that should give any comp side a run for their money.

Is this squad for real or is someone being funny? Trent Scannel and Andre Habchi! One of them is bout 20kg overweight and the other was bent over by B.Morrison last sat. I heard the crowd was laughing at him but granted Morrison can make defenders look bad. Fricker also questionable.

Trent may be carrying a bit more than last year, but his inclusion in the squad is justified. He is a very good defender who has rarely been beaten in 08, and from all reports is in career best form. Taking into account that this is still only the squad... not the final 22. I agree with the others you named as questionable, but think a couple of others couldve been put in that bracket as well.

who are the certainties than that squad of fifty doesn't give us much to go on. its only one week away. how can we see the edfl squad:thumbsu:

so whats the go with caddy? it says on the clearance section that its pending.
also y exactly did stewart leave north?
So does that mean if Caddy gets cleared he plays in the comp game? He tore the Eastern league apart a few years back. With that list i think he would definately be the best centre half forward in this league.

Being one of the much hated eltham u-19 brigade..we all know how good JOSH MERKEL is because weve played alot of footy with him... but what i wanna know is what are some of the wise heads on BIGFOOTY thoughts on him being in the interlague squad???

I reckon he should play in the N.F.L comp side, would be good to see him play against few of his greenvale team and others from his old league!:thumbsu:

Umpires for the interleague match were selected last night. One field/goal/boundary to umpire with one rep from Essendon
